Amazon Managed Blockchain now supports assigning tags to networks, members, proposals, invitations, and nodes. Tags can be assigned to existing resources and to new resources at the time of creation. You can also define fine-grained access controls using tags and AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies to control access to resources and actions. Tags are key-value pairs that you can assign to resources to easily organize and search for resources, automate resource activities, create cost allocation reports, and control access to resources.
Amazon Managed Blockchain is a fully managed service that allows you to join public networks or set up and manage scalable private networks with just a few clicks. Amazon Managed Blockchain eliminates the overhead required to create the network or join a public network, and automatically scales to meet the demands of thousands of applications running millions of transactions. Once your network is up and running, Amazon Managed Blockchain makes it easy to manage and maintain your blockchain network. It manages your certificates and lets you easily invite new members to join the network.
Tagging is supported for both Ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric resources. To learn more about tagging resources and configuring tag-based access control, see the tagging topic in the Ethereum Developer Guide and the Hyperledger Fabric Developer Guide.
