You can now use resource-based policies to manage access permissions for your Amazon Lex resources. Amazon Lex is a service for building conversational interfaces into any application. A resource-based policy defines which AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) users, roles and AWS services have access to your Amazon Lex bot or a specific alias in the bot.
Previously, you could use identity-based policies to manage access rights to your Amazon Lex bot. With identity-based policies, you are required to define access permissions and manage policies for each IAM user or role. Now with resource-based policy support, you can attach a single policy to your Lex bot or alias and manage permissions for multiple IAM users, roles or other AWS services.
Resource-based policies are available on bots and aliases created using Lex V2 APIs. For more information, please visit documentation.
