AWS Managed Services (AMS) now offers self-service reporting on key operational metrics. AWS Managed Services provides operational reports on your Managed Environment for both traditional and next generation workloads. You can access the rich set of operational reports in your managed accounts through AWS Managed Services console. You can also access the operational reporting data through a secure S3 bucket that AMS provides for your analytics and business intelligence needs.
With this release, you can get automated reporting on the patching status of your EC2 instances, in-depth patch details, scheduled maintenance windows, and the instances that missed patches, through a daily patch report in all your AMS managed accounts. Additionally, you can stay on top of all your resources' backup status, backup snapshots aging, and recovery point information through an on-demand backup report. Payer accounts are eligible to receive monthly AMS billing report with detailed usage charges of all linked accounts across all AWS services. This self-service reporting feature is available in both AMS Advanced and Accelerate Operations Plans in all regions where AMS is available.
