AWS GameDay Series

AWS GameDay Challenge is a collaborative learning exercise that tests your skills in implementing AWS solutions to solve real-world problems in a gamified, risk-free environment. This is a completely hands-on opportunity for technical professionals to explore AWS services, architecture patterns, best practices, and group co-operation. Ambiguity and non-prescriptive guidance allow teams the flexibility to think creatively as they navigate a wide array of technical challenges. There is no one right answer; teams pave their own path based on resources we provide them within live AWS accounts. Team Requirements:

• Each team member should register and attend the AWS Summit Hong Kong
• In order to participate, you will have to have an intermediate understanding of AWS services and console
• Gameday participants are required to bring their own laptops

Spaces are limited for these sessions and will be available on a first come first serve basis.

• Test your AWS skills in a real-word, risk-free environment and experience League of Legends like never before
• Gather a team of 2-4 people and navigate real League of Legends Esports scenarios with data provided by Riot Games
• Build a win prediction model for League of Legends Esports – predict who will win a match in real time

AWS Well-Architected Security Chaos Engineering GameDay" offers professionals real-world incident response training through simulated attacks by unknown threat actors.

"You are the new hired security expert of The Unicon Rental, and you will have to face some security challenges at your onboarding day."

This GameDay is a 90-minute hands-on challenge. We will provide every attending AWS customer with an environment that simulates a compromised and breached system. Multiple malicious activities will be injected from different layers. Participants will need to investigate all the given resources and remediate the threats as soon as possible. With this GameDay, AWS customers will experience the high-level concepts of incident response, detection, investigation, and relevant AWS Services and Best Practices of the AWS Well-Architected Security Pillar. Form a team of 3 – 4 members in advance or team up on-site!
