Keynote
Join Dave Levy, vice president of worldwide public sector at Amazon Web Services (AWS), as he leads a discussion on the benefits and responsible deployment of generative AI and machine learning in accelerating the success of your organization. This keynote will provide insights on how organizations can gain agility, speed, and scalability by leveraging their data while maintaining full control and ownership.
Wendy Joos, chief data officer of Belgian Post (Bpost) Group, and Francesca Duri, chief technology officer at World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), will join Dave on stage to share their journeys towards artificial intelligence, data lake, and cloud transformation. The keynote will also feature a demonstration on how organizations can build generative applications to improve productivity using multiple large language models (LLMs) when one LLM may not suffice. Dave Levy leads government, education, healthcare, aerospace and satellite, and nonprofit businesses globally. He and his teams help customers realize the potential of technology to transform their organizations and fulfill their missions. Previously, Dave served for six years as the Vice President of U.S. Government, Nonprofit, and Global Healthcare businesses for AWS.
Dave’s team is focused on helping customers use data in more sophisticated ways. Before joining AWS, Dave worked for Apple Inc. for 12 years and led the teams that helped the government adopt innovative mobile technologies.

Barbara Baeyens is the Head of Public Sector Belux Sales in Amazon Web Services with responsibility for government, healthcare and education sector. Prior to joining AWS she held sales and marketing positions for large IT companies such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard and Novell, but also start-ups such as Bigcommerce and MD-Co.
With her experience of almost 30 years in the IT industry she is passionate about helping public sector organizations adopt new cloud technologies improving citizen, patient and student experiences. Barbara holds a master’s degree in press and communication sciences of the Free University of Brussels.

Yaara Tam is the Head of Multi-National Organizations Worldwide Public Sector Industries sales in Amazon Web Services. Prior to her work in AWS Yaara served as the Defense Lead at IBM, and the Government Lead in Oracle, resulting in more than 20 years of experience serving Public Sector customers. Yaara is passionate about supporting government and public entities adoption of digital innovation and digital transformation to improve our lives as citizens and humans.
Yaara also holds LLM in Law and is licensed to practice Law in Israel and New York. Residing in the past few years in sunny Madrid, Yaara is a mom of 3 girls and an amateur triathlete who participates in long distance IronMan triathlons yearly.

Dominic Delmolino is the Vice President of Field Technology and Engineering for Amazon Web Services Worldwide Public Sector. He is responsible for the oversight, strategy and definition of AWS field technical offerings and activities supporting public sector customers while advocating on their behalf for AWS feature development.
In his career, Delmolino has assisted government and commercial clients in the application of leading edge data management, analysis and software engineering solutions. In addition to a B.S. in Computer Science from Cornell University, Delmolino has a Master in Information and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
He currently oversees AWS public sector efforts in the cloud and emerging technology space, including the deployment and configuration of responsible Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing and large-scale Cloud-based DevOps architectures.
Francesca Duri

Francesca Duri serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). In her role, she is responsible for enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, infrastructure modernization, and transforming IT operations. With more than 30 years of experience as an IT professional, she has served in roles from technology supplier to IT management.
Prior to joining WIPO, she served as the Director of IT Strategy and Architecture of Save the Children International and was also the CTO of Ferrari. Her natural curiosity and interest in new technologies has enabled her to spot valuable technologies, finding non-obvious usage scenarios, and matching them to business needs to make the most positive impact.

After 15 years of experience in various business roles in aviation, real-estate development, and postal operations, she pivoted to IT in 2015 heading the BI department of bpost. She gradually guided the organization from a report-centered mindset towards a data-driven culture taking on the role of Chief Data Officer for the bpostgroup in 2020.
Today, she and her teams deliver data solutions and expertise across the group in e-commerce and logistics. She continues to be a strong evangelist for applied data science and the data-first mindset.

Session content is set between 100 foundational and 400 expert level to accommodate all levels of expertise. Yes. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age on the day they pick up their conference badge.

There is no dress code for attendees. Attendee attire varies including business casual, suits, hoodies and jeans. Please wear what you are comfortable in.

Yes. The cloakroom will open at 8:00 AM and close at 6:00 PM. It will be located directly behind the registration desk.
