Lakshmi Raman, Director of Artificial Intelligence Innovation, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)
Ms. Lakshmi Raman is currently the Director of Artificial Intelligence Innovation for the CIA where she is working to champion, orchestrate, and integrate AI activities across the organization. She has been an officer in the Agency since 2002, when she entered on duty as a software developer. Since then, she served in various capacities including leading numerous software development efforts in support of the Agency and the IC, directing large-scale data science and business analytics efforts, and promoting and facilitating intelligence integration and information sharing between the CIA and IC partners. Ms. Raman holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Chicago.
Dr. Adam Resnick, Director of Data Driven Discovery in Biomedicine at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)
Dr. Adam Resnick, a visionary leader at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), aims to improve children's health. He leads an expert team building a network that connects researchers, clinicians, and patient families to accelerate scientific discoveries into treatments. He is a widely respected scientist, studying brain tumors in children and how to better diagnose and treat these deadly diseases.
Dr. Resnick's impact reaches far beyond CHOP through leadership across several children's research institutions. He spearheads an innovative data center that collects, processes, and shares information about pediatric cancers and congenital disorders, guiding organizations that include the Children’s Brain Tumor Network (CBTN), the NIH Gabriella Miller Kids First Data Resource Center (Kids First DRC), and the Pacific Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Consortium (PNOC), building bridges between science and care for a brighter future for children worldwide.
Mr. Young J. Bang, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics & Technology)
Mr. Young Bang was appointed as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics & Technology) on 8 March 2022. As the Principal Deputy, Mr. Bang advises the Assistant Secretary for Acquisition, Logistics & Technology and Army leadership on all matters relating to Army acquisition.
Prior to joining ASA(ALT), Mr. Bang served at the C Suite or EVP level at multiple large and mid size companies leading P&L, building business and growth and product development across services and product companies. He has broad experience in M&A on both buy and sell side and has used his broad knowledge of addressable markets to guide the growth in existing, adjacent and new markets/capabilities. His extensive experience spans commercial and federal consulting covering technology, healthcare, telecom and strategy.
From a technology perspective, he has deep expertise in Cutting Edge Technology (Quantum, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, AR/VR/MR/XR etc.) and Digital Transformation (Modern Software Development, Big Data, Cloud, IoT) to drive growth across multiple markets from Army, Navy, Air Force, Joint, Intelligence, Health (Federal and Commercial), DHS, DoJ, DoT and DoS. Mr. Bang has worked in product development in hardware and software, cyber, data and AI as well as startups during the dotcom period. Prior to that Mr. Bang served in the Army in various leadership positions across Ft Bragg, Korea and Aberdeen Proving Grounds.

Dave Levy leads government, education, healthcare, aerospace and satellite, and nonprofit businesses globally. He and his teams help customers realize the potential of technology to transform their organizations and fulfill their missions. Previously, Dave served for six years as the Vice President of U.S. Government, Nonprofit, and Global Healthcare businesses for AWS. Dave’s team is focused on helping customers use data in more sophisticated ways. Before joining AWS, Dave worked for Apple Inc. for 12 years and led the teams that helped the government adopt innovative mobile technologies.
