    As of March 31, 2024, CloudEndure Disaster Recovery (CEDR) will be discontinued in all AWS Regions except for the following regions and use cases:

    CloudEndure Disaster Recovery is an automated IT resilience solution that lets you recover your environment from unexpected infrastructure or application outages, data corruption, ransomware, or other malicious attacks. Block-level, continuous data replication enables recovery point objectives (RPOs) of seconds. Continuous data replication to a low-cost staging area in AWS reduces your compute and storage footprint to a minimum. Automated machine conversion and orchestration enable recovery time objectives (RTOs) of minutes.

    Highlights

    • Replicate any physical, virtual, or cloud-based workload with RPOs of seconds and RTOs of minutes. Fail over to previous points in time to recover from data corruption, ransomware, or other malicious attacks. Fail back when disaster is over.
    • DR TCO reduction: Uses minimal compute and low-cost storage, and eliminates OS and application software licensing during normal operations (real-time replication). Only pay for relevant compute and OS/application licenses when recovery is needed.
    • Enterprises use CloudEndure to replicate their most critical databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL, as well as enterprise applications such as SAP.

    Using block level replication a minimum rpo and rto is acheuved with an optimized use of infrastructure.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Uptil now i have found cloud endure a very interesting product
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    A minimum rto and rpois acheuved using block level replication which was very hard to acheive prior to the deployment

    What do you like best about the product?
    Allows low cost failover while maintaining high RTO and RPO.

    Instead of running full fledged workloads in DR env, cloud endure allows the ability to run small no. of VMs to replicate data for mass VMs.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    None that come to mind at the moment. I have been very content in my experience with leveraging CloudEndure.

    It is allowing automated failover to DR region at low cost

    What do you like best about the product?
    Integrated backup and DR solution.for Disaster recovery addressing most commonly required RPO and RTO requirements. As a one-time license, same can also be used for migration. SaaS Service and we can get started in less than a day.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    The Replication servers are dynamically created and IP address range was required to open up the ports and for the service to run. Had initial issues in setting it up, but worked well after that.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    One time migration tool and ongoing setup for Disaster recovery and site resilience. Addresses most of the commonly required RPO and RTO requirements except for the less than 1-2 mns RPO.
