You pay by the hour for a preconfigured Apache Tomcat 10 image running on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Pricing is not tiered by features. Instead, you pick the EC2 instance size you want to run the software on. Each listed instance type carries its own hourly software rate. The many options span families like t2, t3, t3a, m4, m5, m6, and m7, from small shared-core sizes up to bare-metal and large multi-core sizes. Larger instances with more CPU and memory cost more per hour. You add the underlying AWS infrastructure charges separately.

What do I actually get when I pick one of these hourly instance types?
You get a preconfigured Apache Tomcat 10 image running on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, launched on the EC2 instance size you select. Each instance type maps to specific CPU and memory capacity. The hourly rate covers the software on that instance. AWS charges the underlying compute separately.
Am I charged the hourly software rate when my instance is stopped?
The software rate meters running time. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. You may still pay AWS for attached storage while the instance is stopped. Charges resume once you start the instance again.
How do the software charge and the AWS infrastructure charge combine on my bill?
Both charges bill per instance-hour and appear together. The Marketplace software rate covers the Tomcat image. The AWS charge covers the compute, storage, and network for that instance. They add up. Choosing a larger instance raises both the software rate and the infrastructure cost.

1.- Launch the product via 1-Click
2.- Use a web browser to access the Manager Application at: http://[ec2-ip]:8080/manager, or the Host Manager Application at: http://[ec2-ip]:8080/host-manager, where [ec2-ip] is the public ip provided by Amazon for your instance.
3.- Log in using the following credentials:
- Username: 'admin'
- Password: the 'instance_id' of the instance
You can also access your instance via SSH using the username 'ubuntu' and your Amazon private key.
