Each dimension maps to one AWS instance size across several families: T2 and T3 for general-purpose burstable workloads, C3, C4, and C5 for compute-focused work, R3, R4, and R5 for memory-heavy tasks, and D2 and D3 for storage-dense needs. Larger instance sizes carry higher hourly rates. Metal options give you dedicated hardware. You add standard AWS infrastructure charges on top of the software rate.
