Centralized log management with insights
What do you like best about the product?
Sumo Logic allows you to create a central location to store all your logs in on place where these logs can be analyzed, reported on and alerted on. Its powerful search capabilities can help reduce troubleshooting times by letting you filter and get down to the information needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a small initial learning curve to become an effective user at leveraging the features and functionality. Cost is another aspect that be become a pain point if one does not properly plan on what is being ingested. Using the infrequent data tier helps with this but it's something that needs to thought out so as not to reduce the usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest problem it solves is it standardizes log management and analysis. Sumo has become a one-stop shop for everything related to logs.

Great tool for monitoring and log aggregation
What do you like best about the product?
Sumo Logic makes agregating our logs across server/environments/accounts easy and accessibe. Not only is pulling our data in a single window or query helpful, the visualization of this data makes it easy to comprehend and compile it into an understandable data set for the intended viewer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike about Sumo Logic from the logging aspect, satisfied our use cases just fine

In my role Sumo Logic helps be review deployment logs and monitor for issues in logs of servers in which we have many.

Your team. Trenton Tubolino and Brandon Borodach deserve a raise. We have had bad experiences in the past and we never thought to move away from our current provider. But thanks to them we are purchasing your solution this month

Nothing at all. This solution is not only perfect for our use case but helps us expand to the rest of the organization

Sending our logs to infreuqnet access tiers cut out our costs significantly which is no mean feat when you're i.porting every log for hundreds of microservices.

Nothing, it's a great tool that does everything we need it to.

Sumlogic helps us gather disparate logs from dozens upon dozens of cloud watch log groups in multiple regions and accounts and intelligently helps us allocate logs into the tiers they belong.

I do not have anything negative about Sumo Logic as such to state. Their product is up to the mark and doing a great job. It would be great if more query languages were supported in future.
