Live Cloud Production

IBC24 - Broadcast - Live Cloud Production

Media companies seeking to produce more valuable live, must-see content that cannot be easily replicated or time-shifted face challenges due to high production costs and a lack of experienced production personnel. Live cloud production (LCP) on AWS offers advantages over traditional, at-venue production, including ease and speed of launch, pay-as-you-go pricing, ease of sharing streams with distribution partners in the cloud, and enabling skilled staff to produce more content while improving their quality of life by reducing travel. This demo shows how LCP has been used by AWS customers to more efficiently produce live events, and demonstrates the power of AI to automatically generate highlight clips and commentary in multiple languages within minutes.
