Localization and Live Immersive Experiences

IBC24 - Direct to Consumer - Localization and Live Immersive Experiences

Media companies are looking to leverage the benefits of cloud computing to not only reach global users but also to help tailor their content to viewers to provide a more engaging experience. Historically, the task of localizing live content with multi-language live subtitles or creating user-selectable multi-camera live experiences came with significant technical and cost challenges.

AWS Partner, SyncWords, helps with the subtitling challenge by leveraging AWS services to create real-time transcription and translation of live video in a scalable and affordable way.

Using Tiledmedia multiview video player, streaming platforms can leverage AWS Elemental MediaLive and AWS Elemental MediaPackage to combine live encodings into a single multi-view package, allowing viewers to choose their preferred angles for an immersive experience.
