For AI observability use cases, VeloDB provides an alternative to Grafana Loki while reducing costs by 70%. Taking Technology Global Requires Overcoming Trust and Commercialization Barriers
VeloDB's technology roots run deep in the open-source community, and the company set its sights on global markets early. However, making technology available to customers worldwide does not mean it can be successfully commercialized globally. To expand internationally, VeloDB needed to move from simply building a product to enabling customers to discover, purchase, and adopt its solution with ease.

VeloDB currently lists VeloDB Cloud (Pay As You Go) and VeloDB Cloud (Committed Contract) on AWS Marketplace. It has also joined the AWS ISV Accelerate Program and is eligible for the AWS SaaS Co-sell Benefit (SCB).

When evaluating solutions, enterprise customers consider not only technical capabilities, but also whether procurement processes are straightforward, vendors are easy to manage, and software can integrate with their existing cloud environments. Through AWS Marketplace, VeloDB can engage customers with standardized product information, pricing, and deployment options, reducing friction between product discovery and purchasing decisions. This helps VeloDB build trust with enterprise customers and create a more efficient, reliable end-to-end purchasing process. For example, a leading financial services customer in the Middle East completed the procurement process through AWS Marketplace within one month, significantly shorter than the traditional 3-6 month procurement cycle.
Outcome
Over the past year, VeloDB has accelerated its global expansion with AWS Marketplace, achieving strong growth in its international business. As of year-to-date 2026, VeloDB's gross subscription sales (GSS) on AWS Marketplace have increased by more than 200% compared with the same period in 2025, with full-year GSS growth projected to grow fivefold year over year.
Looking ahead, VeloDB will continue to refine its product offerings on AWS Marketplace while strengthening its global service capabilities.
