Embedded analytics

You are enabled to embed data visuals, dashboards, and natural language queries to your application.  You can add insightful analytics into any application with customized, interactive visuals and dashboards. Amazon Quick Sight is designed to scale.

Analysts

You are enabled to share insights with groups across internal and external users and to embed into applications, wikis, websites, and more. Amazon Quick Sight is designed to help users in high-traffic applications with managed, fine-grained visualizations. Amazon Quick Sight is also designed to provide in-application analytics and enables you to embed natural language queries in your applications. You can implement a customizable dashboard creating experience with controls and governed data access for application users.

Quick Sight Reports

You can create, schedule, and share reports and data exports from a single, fully managed, cloud-based business intelligence (BI) solution. Your users can start creating and sharing customized paginated documents with the Quick Sight interface. You can also get information to users with operational reports and dashboards. With the Quick Sight serverless architecture, you can share your reports at scale.

Enterprise data management

Amazon Quick Sight is designed to help you turn your enterprise data into insights with data preparation and connectivity capabilities. Amazon Quick Sight is built on a serverless architecture that is designed to scale.

Data source connectivity

Amazon Quick Sight is designed to connect to and import data from cloud and on-premises sources. You can connect to SaaS applications and leverage native AWS services.

SPICE: Super-fast data processing engine

Amazon Quick Sight is designed to provide fast performance at scale with SPICE (Super-fast, Parallel, In-memory Calculation Engine), the in-memory calculation engine in Quick Sight. SPICE is designed to replicate data for availability, enabling simultaneous users to perform analysis while shielding your underlying data infrastructure.

Security and compliance

You can distribute dashboards and insights securely to users with Quick Sight, which is designed to provide a security framework including role-based access controls (RBACs), Active Directory integration, AWS CloudTrail auditing, and single sign-on support.

API capabilities

You can leverage API capabilities that provide programmatic access to BI assets including dashboards, analyses, and reports. These APIs enable you to treat BI assets as software source code and manage them within your DevOps pipelines. Amazon Quick Sight is designed to support migration from legacy BI solutions while automating deployments and managing user access.

Serverless architecture and scaling

Quick Sight is built on a serverless architecture that is designed to scale to users and help avoid software patches and hardware upgrades with redundancy and multi-region availability.
