Am I paying an additional fee to work with an ISV or Consulting Partner to buy in AWS Marketplace?
No. There is price neutrality across channels for ISVs and Consulting Partners who work with AWS.

I am buying through a reseller. Can I still leverage AWS Marketplace Seller Private Offers?
Yes. Consulting Partner Private Offers was launched in October 2018 to enable the same functionality as Seller Private Offers for resellers, like Value Added Resellers (VARs) and Consulting Partners. My legal team has questions on all terms applicable when purchasing an AWS Marketplace Seller Private Offer or Consulting Partner Private Offer. How can they find answers?
Software subscriptions made in AWS Marketplace are governed by terms negotiated between a customer and ISV or Consulting Partner. Use of AWS Marketplace is governed by your AWS Customer Agreement or other agreement governing your use of AWS services. My organization has several AWS account ids. How do I know which account to provide?
The AWS account ID you use will depend on who will be using the software within your organization. Keep in mind that:
- If your AWS account is linked to your payer account, you can accept an offer from that linked account. You don’t need to use the payer account unless you want all the linked accounts to be bound by the offer.

Do I need to update my payment or tax settings to receive an offer?
Make sure to review your payment and tax settings to ensure they are current and:
- Confirm that your payment method supports paying the entire cost. To verify your payment method, open the Billing and Cost Management console.
- If your company qualifies for a tax exemption, verify your tax settings in the AWS Management Console.
- If you are preparing to purchase a SaaS or AMI solution with a flexible payment schedule, make sure you have invoicing, rather than credit card billing, in place before you accept the offer.

Can I add a purchase order number when transacting in AWS Marketplace?
Yes. Using Purchase Order Management for SaaS contracts, you can enter your purchase order number when transacting in AWS Marketplace. Purchase order numbers entered in AWS Marketplace show on the relevant AWS invoices and in the AWS Purchase Order Management Console. For other AWS Marketplace product types other than SaaS contracts, you can add a blanket purchase order number to your AWS Marketplace invoices in the AWS Purchase Order Management Console. Refer to the AWS Documentation to learn more about Purchase Order Management for SaaS Contracts.

Your custom offer may have expired, or you could be logging in from an AWS account not linked to the offer. Contact your ISV or Consulting Partner for support.

What do I do after I finish subscribing to my offer?
After subscribing to your offer, complete the registration and contact your ISV or Consulting Partner for any implementation assistance.

What are the product types eligible for Seller Private Offers and Consulting Partner Private Offers?
Some of the products eligible for those offers are below. For a full list, please visit the Private Offers page in the AWS Marketplace subscribers guide for more information.- AMI or SaaS subscriptions: With subscription-based products, you agree on a price and you are only billed for what you use.
- AMI annual: With AMI annual, you negotiate the hourly and total contract duration prices over any custom contract duration of up to 3 years. Payment can be made upfront or with a payment schedule.
- SaaS or AMI contract: With contract-based products, you can commit to upfront payment for your expected usage of the product or negotiate a payment schedule. Custom contract durations are available for up to 3 years.
- AMI BYOL: With AMI BYOL, you can negotiate a price for using an AMI and use software licenses that you already own. Work with the ISV or Consulting Partner to sign a custom transaction request (CTF) form to agree to pricing, terms, and payment schedule. The form allows AWS Marketplace to subscribe to the BYOL AMI product on your behalf.
