IAM Role and Policies Documentation: The CloudFormation template creates an IAM role with three associated policies, each serving a specific purpose for the Imagizer application:

    1. IamPolicyS3: Grants Imagizer read-only access to the specified S3 bucket. This access is essential for retrieving the necessary data stored in S3 for image processing tasks.

    2. IamPolicyCloudWatchMetrics: Allows Imagizer to write metrics to Amazon CloudWatch. This is crucial for monitoring the performance and health of the Imagizer systems, enabling proactive maintenance and issue resolution.

    3. IamPolicyCloudWatchLogging: Permits Imagizer to write access and application logs to Amazon CloudWatch. This logging capability is vital for tracking user interactions, troubleshooting errors, and ensuring the application's security and compliance.

Powerful, Low File Size, High Quality, & Great Support

    Reviewed on Nov 27, 2017
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Most image optimization tools that auto-optimize images end up with low quality images that simply aren't acceptable for our high-profile clients. Imagizer produces insanely small file sizes without the client's branding and marketing teams even being aware! Page sizes were drastically decreased by 40-60% in many cases. Page load times have increased - and the best part is that integration is super simple. They also helped build savings calculators before we deployed so we could get full client buy-in and support. Finally, we did have a technical issue with them on a client site and they were so responsive and took accountability in a way I have never seen before that really impressed me and our client.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if they had some plugins for WordPress or Magento, but as I understand they are working on them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduced page load, small image size, responsive optimization, conversion improvements, simple integration, lower bandwidth costs, happy clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Savings to your AWS bandwidth will pay for Imagizer's cost and with 3/4 clients we use them with there was a net gain!

    Best Image Compression Engine

I've been using Imagizer for the past year a little after it was initially released. It has been a game changer for our team. We've not only saved money, but it's greatly improved the UX of our apps and websites because of the extremely fast load times. I highly recommend it.

    Useful dynamic image processing service

    Reviewed on Nov 23, 2016

Imagizer is a performant image re-sizing service that allowed us to deliver dynamically resized image content much faster than writing our own re-sizing code, and without having to pre-compute all the desired image sizes for every different platform / resolution. The technical and business support have been excellent. If you're looking for an appliance to improve your image delivery performance, Imagizer is worth seriously considering.

Incredible product supported by a top-notch customer support!

We've been using Imagizer at my company, Vango, for a little over 6 months now and it has been nothing less than a game-changer for us. Development/design times around images have been reduced by at least a factor of ten in large part due to the beautiful Imagizer API. Our storage costs have decreased significantly as we no longer have to deal with multiple versions of our images and stress-levels around the engineering team have noticeably dropped in tandem. Whenever we have questions or suggestions the Nventify team behind Imagizer is always quick to answer and has been an absolute pleasure to work with thus far. I couldn't recommend Imagizer highly enough.
