What do you like best about the product?
I like almalinux Wiki because i havent got contact with this distro earlier(because of Ubuntu) and mine first impression was that it got really really clever and user friendly documentation.Everything is properly sorted and even started to think about re-checking during free time security chapter with OpenSCAP guide.Mine RaspberryPi experience could gain some re-evaluation after setting up under follow-up of this guide.Summarizing its a good image.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that going with todays standards and everything from made scripts and machines(which is programming,im aware of that) can kill this spirit. If there is vision it should be made with flavour.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far i didnt found any critical issues. Everything is properly made. From user perspective who enjoys programming and would like to contribute might be fun to some joyfull features.

    AlmaLinux makes life easy

    Reviewed on Mar 30, 2023
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
AlmaLinux 8 provides a wonderful alternative to RHEL 8. This free OS has wide community support and offers wide support for a number of harware and software plugins.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transitioning from earlier versions of Linux to Alma 8 can be difficult as there are many changes between RHEL 7 and RHEL 8 based OS. This is not exactly an Alma 8 fault but moving between versions could be easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using AlmaLinux 8 allows our organization to save a lot on licensing costs. It also allows us to consume enhanced security features that are offered as part of RHEL 8.
