IAV lumits is the first automated cloud-based service for the verification of V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) message conformity. Hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), IAV lumits eliminates the need for software installation or licensing, making it accessible and straightforward for users at any level of expertise in V2X and C-ITS (Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems).
The service supports a variety of V2X standards, including C2C-CC BSP Releases 1.6.5 and newer, C-Roads Releases 2.0.0 and newer, as well as the US Connected Intersection (CI) Implementation Guide. This ensures broad compatibility and relevance for different use cases and regions.
Using IAV lumits is simple: users upload their V2X messages in a pcap file, select the appropriate specification from a dropdown list, and choose a coupon for evaluation. The service then processes the data. Once the evaluation is complete, users download the results from their personal area on the lumits website.
The results are provided in two formats: a PDF report and an HTML archive. The PDF report organizes the results by C-ITS Station and specific requirements, offering a clear and detailed summary of the overall compliance. The HTML archive provides a more interactive way to explore the results organized by the message structure, providing insights in the details of potential errors. Both formats categorize the results in errors, correct implementations, general information, and potential edge cases.
