AWS Workspace: 2 week proof of concept

With the Covid 19 virus, many employees are working from home on either personal or corporate assets. Companies are looking to provide a secure desktop environment to provide employees with the resources they need to perform their job even though they are remote.

You can use Amazon WorkSpaces to provision either Windows or Linux desktops in just a few minutes and quickly scale to provide thousands of desktops to workers across the globe. You can pay either monthly or hourly, just for the WorkSpaces you launch, which helps you save money when compared to traditional desktops and on premises VDI solutions. Amazon WorkSpaces helps you eliminate the complexity in managing hardware inventory, OS versions and patches, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), which helps simplify your desktop delivery strategy. With Amazon WorkSpaces, your users get a fast, responsive desktop of their choice that they can access anywhere, anytime, from any supported device. People Tech Group can deploy a Proof of Concept (PoC) for Amazon workspace in your environment. This PoC would be a limited-scope implementation to determine whether the solution meets your requirements.

• Supports up to total 5 Test users
• 1 Amazon workspace pool
• 2 Virtual Machines (including 1 for the gold image) of Windows 10
• 3 Applications
• AWS Tenant
• AD Domain Controller in AWS
• File Server
• Amazon Virtual Private cloud
• 1 Session Host VM (per 5 test users) configured for pooled sessions
• AWS Authentication with MFA
• EC2 Backup for File Server and Domain Controller

Customer provides all required subscriptions and licenses.
