Overview
No matter where you are on your cloud journey, an AWS Well-Architected Review is a great way to confirm that you're maximizing the value of your AWS investment. You'll come away from your review knowing how closely you are following the Framework's best practices. For any High Risk Items (HRIs) that are identified, we'll help you close as many as possible, and provide actionable next steps to close any that remain. Simple as that.
-
Who: To maximize the value of your AWS Well-Architected Review, your team will bring a mix of internal business and IT stakeholders to the table. It’s important to include all key stakeholders that are involved with the workload, as High Risk Items (HRIs) may require deeper discussions.
-
What: Our AWS-Certified Cloud Architect will assess one of your workloads against the Framework’s Six Pillars:
- Operational Excellence
- Security
- Reliability
- Performance Efficiency
- Cost Optimization
- Sustainability
We will work to remediate as many identified gaps as possible during the engagement. At the end of the week, you’ll receive a detailed report that details completed and future remediations to optimze your workload and integrate best practices going forward.
-
Why: The AWS Well-Architected Review will benchmark your workload against AWS’ Well-Architected Framework, the gold standard of best practices and design patterns in cloud architecture. Not only will your review provide a clear path toward optimizing your existing workload, but you will also come away from the engagement well-equipped to apply the Framework’s principles and best practices point-forward in your organization.
-
When: Typically, an AWS Well-Architected Review can be completed in one to two weeks, assuming key stakeholder availability and no delay in systems access. Protagona will make every effort to work with you to gain knowledge of the workload and environment in advance of the review. A representative timeline of activities requiring stakeholder involvement can be found in our Solution Brief .
The report from your AWS Well-Architected Review alone is well worth your time and what's more, as part of your review, we'll help remediate 45% or more of any identified High Risk Items (HRIs). This will qualify you for $5,000 in AWS Service Credits that will offset the cost of your AWS Well-Architected Review.
