Overview
-
Reliable Connections for your dApps Running your own Casper node gives you access to a JSON RPC endpoint (node_ip:7777/rpc) and a Server-Sent Event (SSE) Stream endpoint (node_ip:9999/events) that you control.
-
Robust Cloud Infrastructure by AWS The AWS Casper Node runs over Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) providing robust high availability offered by the AWS cloud computing platform.
-
Easily Configure for Growth The AWS Casper Node AMI provisions Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) for storage with a default allocation of 500GB. This can be simply expanded later if required.
-
Automatically joins Mainnet After the node starts it will begin a block sync progress. The status of the node including sync state and connectivity to the network can be monitored at the Status endpoint (node_ip:8888/status)
-
Build your Own Network A guide to building Private Networks is avaliable here https://docs.casper.network/operators/setup-network/create-private/
-
Monitoring and Performance Insights Casper Node supports monitoring with Prometheus (node_ip:8888/metrics). Grafana is recommended to visualise the collected data.
Highlights
- Run a Mainnet Casper Node in just a few clicks
- Reliable self-hosted RPC & Event Stream endpoints for your dApps

64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
