Overview
This is the first cloud storage product Qumulo launched into AWS, which effectively was a virtualized version of the on-premise system. It is recommended new customers and deployments use Cloud Native Qumulo instead.
Qumulo on AWS V1 is backed purely by EBS storage. Cloud Native Qumulo is a brand new re-write that leverages S3 object storage and is fully elastic with the ability to scale EC2 instance compute up and down dynamically with workloads. It is much more cost-effective and is the recommended platform going forward.
This listing is for existing customers that still have active production deployments running V1 of the Qumulo on AWS product.
Please contact aws@qumulo.com if you have questions.

You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
It is recommended that Qumulo is deployed using the CloudFormation stack provided in this AWS Listing, or one provided to you by Qumulo support. Once the stack has deployed, check the stack's outputs for IP addresses, as well as the generated admin password to log into the management UI. Note that Qumulo is a file system and is intended to be deployed within a private network, not on the public internet. As such, public IP addresses are not added to nodes. In order to access the cluster, you will need to have access to the private IP space of your VPC, have a bastion/jump box, use an NLB, or simply attach a public IP address to a node if you deploy the cluster in a public subnet.
