This AWS-based virtual desktop comes pre-configured with the latest Ubuntu 22.04 LTS GUI image that is optimized for security, featuring advanced hardening measures to help protect against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry best practices. This configuration includes stringent access controls, regular updates, and robust settings to enhance overall system integrity and resilience. Implementing this foundational hardened image can help organizations establish a baseline level of security and reduce their risk exposure to common cyber threats. However, it's important to note that these benchmarks should be considered as a starting point, and organizations may need to customize them based on their specific security requirements and risk profile.
Key features: This hardened image map to many established standards and regulatory frameworks, including the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), the ISO 27000 series of standards, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and others.
