    An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Before deploy: Create a key pair and VPC (if none exists).

    After deploy: Wait approximately 6 minutes before logging in. SSH (login w/ your ssh key as username 'admin') to the instance and run these tmsh commands to set the admin password (GUI User, not SSH): modify auth user admin password save sys config.

    Log into the Config utility web page: If only one NIC was present during deploy, use https://[eth0-IP]:8443. If more than one NIC was present during deploy, use https://[eth0-IP]:443. Ensure your security groups allow access to the required port.

    What do you like best about the product?
    It's stable, quality solution for a secure connection to your business network. The user interface is intuitive and not so complicated. But most of the time you'll need the integrator's help to set the policy as required
    What do you dislike about the product?
    The policy is a bit complex to understand at first you'll need guidance in your first steps but once you practiced a few times it'll be simpler

    Secure virtual connection for remote business users, secure external connection for vendors and costumers

    What do you like best about the product?
    Big IP Virtual Edition does not ensure that skilled IT professionals or those with access to F5 support and training. This needs to guarantee management of the implementation process. The performance and porting capabilities are somewhat limited.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Big IP Virtual Edition needs to provide load balancing and robust security features. There are downsides to consider. It requires configuration. Lacks an intuitive user interface making it time consuming and difficult to work with.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Its pricing is on the side limiting accessibility for businesses. We have incorporated Big IP Virtual Edition into our system to balance the load on our Exchange servers but it failed to do so. It has obstructed our operations.

    What do you like best about the product?
    It lacks the versatility and capabilities of Big IP Virtual Edition. It requires some effort to set up and a learning curve, with the IT personnel or support, from F5 the implementation process becomes hectic.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    The limited range of modules provided does not cater to needs and as web traffic increases Big IP becomes difficult to adapt. It comes at a cost, it is a cumbersome software in the market.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Managing the softwares Marketplace service is burdensome. There are some concerns regarding server to server communication limitations and heavy reliance on LBs that potentially impact efficiency through cascading flows.
