An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

How to connect to the VM:
To connect to your instance, the use of SSH via port 22 is necessary. The default username for establishing this connection is ec2-user. Hardening Notice and Assistance
This image comes pre-configured with Supported compliance already integrated. However, it's worth noting that the use of a hardened system could call for certain adaptations. The advanced security measures might restrict some functionalities or require additional actions for certain operations due to its hardened nature. Should any issues arise, we recommend reaching out to the software provider for further assistance.

-The product operates independently without needing extra external resources.
-To ensure optimal performance, it's advised that you perform updates routinely alongside adopting newly released versions from Citadel.
-This software doesn't require any security keys or credentials to be rotated. It's strongly suggested to utilize EC2 instance connect or AWS Systems Manager Session Manager for best results.
-The functioning of this software does not involve the collection of any customer data.
