     Info

    Overview

The Sapphire secure virtual 20 appliance (Sv20) is an automated authoritative DNSSEC server for use with IPControl IP address management (IPAM) systems. The Sv20 provides automated DNSSEC key generation to administrator's specifications, staging of keys based on a pre-publish (for zone signing keys) or dual publish (for key signing keys), and corresponding signing of zone information. DNS zones can be centrally managed via the IPControl IPAM system and deployed to the Sv20 for signing. You may choose whether to sign a zone on a per-zone basis. Parent zone delegation signer (DS) records are also automatically created and deployed for co-resident parent-child zones on the Sv20, or for externally managed parent zones, email alerts enable triggering of the DS update process for your parent administrator.

    Highlights

    • Automate the authentication and data integrity of your zone data with our "set and forget" key and signing policies.
    • Link your zones into the global DNS chain of trust automatically for co-resident parent-child zones or by processing Sv20-generated emails to update your parent zone administrator
    • A dedicated "dnssec" administrator account affords separation of security from ipam administration on the appliance as desired.
