Overview
The hyperlocal intelligence hub provides detailed insights into location-level performance by analyzing a broad range of data from Google Maps and Google Reviews. This enables leaders to drill down into the total revenue opportunity for each location they manage based on local competition, customer habits and preferences, foot traffic, local events and seasonal opportunities, and more.
As part of a consulting engagement customized for your organization’s needs, Wavicle will install the hyperlocal intelligence solution in your AWS environment and help you uncover otherwise missed revenue opportunities. QSRs, retailers, hotels, and other related entities with a large number of locations can all be ‘leaving money on the table’ for the following reasons that the hyperlocal intelligence solution helps you identify:
- A lack of insight into competitive actions such as new competitors opening, extended operating hours, or new services offered
- An inability to understand unit-level sales relative to foot traffic, which results in a skewed perception of which locations are over- or underperforming
- An inability to understand customer satisfaction at one location versus at competitive locations
- An inability to forecast hourly guest counts, resulting from incomplete data such as local events and competitive impacts
As part of the larger ActiveInsights Customer Intelligence Suite, the hyperlocal intelligence solution allows enterprises to jumpstart their efforts to integrate internal and external data sources and enable location analytics. As part of this process, it leverages Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, and Amazon Athena. Specifically, the hyperlocal intelligence solution integrates with two dominant data sources:
- Google Reviews, which provides attributes and reviews for each company location and insight into competitor locations on a weekly basis
- Googe Maps, which enables companies to identify and monitor competitors for each of your locations
This is one of three components of the ActiveInsights Customer Intelligence Suite. The other modules are:
- Customer intelligence hub: A user-friendly customer intelligence environment that leverages Amazon QuickSight and Amazon Q, to deliver actionable customer intelligence in an easy-to-use way.
