Overview
Digital Managed Services is a SaaS Subscription Service for managing Applications and Services running on AWS. This is an AI powered offer for monitoring applications thru a combination of CloudWatch, CloudTrail Logging and fully configurable Real-Time metrics collection. At the heart of the solution is the AIOps Management Console (Cumul.OS™) powered by our Cognitive AI engine that automates Issue Classification, Pattern Detection, Response Actions and integration with E-Mail, Call Center systems like ServiceNow and collaboration tools such as Slack.
The offer includes setup, management and 365x24x7 Support of application monitoring, as well as reporting of statistics, topology view and cost analysis via the StreamScape AIOps Management Console. The system provides Alerts, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Recommendations that can advise users in response to anomalies or error conditions. Support for Multi-Region applications is also provided as an add-on capability and includes standard Business Continuity services such as fail-over, fail-back coordination and state monitoring.
Users can add Managed Applications to their Subscription and work with our Site Reliability Engineers to define Application Topology Views, Task Lists, Notifications and Automation Run-books for Resource Management and Reporting. A unit based subscription model lets you control cost and reduce operational risk. Please see our License Addendum for Application Support Services and SLA options included with the offer.
Additional option: Multi-Region Support Services provide additional Durability, Fault-Tolerance and Business Continuity for Applications Managed or Hosted via StreamScape AIOps Services. Applications are set up and deployed across multiple AWS East Regions. AIOps services continuously monitor AWS infrastructure. In the event of regional failure, managed applications and resources are automatically failed-over and restarted if appropriate. Most recovery processors may be automated in response to failure. Coordinated fail-back can be affected when the primary region becomes available again.
Multi-Region Support typically requires duplication of AWS application components in the fail-over region in addition to AIOps Service components and resources. Some services may require additional licensing based on applications being supported. This is handled on a case-by-case basis.
