Overview
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for support with Hanwei. The AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI) is an open source tool that enables you to interact with AWS services using commands in your command-line shell. With minimal configuration, the AWS CLI enables you to start running commands that implement functionality equivalent to that provided by the browser-based AWS Management Console from the command prompt in your terminal program.
Highlights
- AWS CLI provides access to nearly all AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and more, allowing users to manage these services through the command line interface
- The AWS CLI makes it easy for users to write scripts to automate the deployment and management tasks of AWS services, which is critical to simplifying complex operations and increasing efficiency.
- AWS CLI is tightly integrated with AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), allowing users to execute commands with granular permission control, ensuring the security of operations.
