Launch a VM instance with this Amazon Machine Image (AMI) to start your own Linux Desktop in the cloud in less than 5 minutes. This server image provides you with a Xfce Desktop Environment for openSUSE Leap 15.5. You can connect to the virtual display via VNC. To keep the VM as clean as possible we have kept the installation to a minimum (no additional tools were installed other than Mozilla Firefox for internet access so that you can get started with your custom software installations out of the box).

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

VNC Connection:
- On your local machine, launch your VNC client.
- Connect to the public IP address of your instance using port 5901.
- When prompted, use your Instance ID as the password. For example: i-0ed22c98429479e1c.
