Testing
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to setup a flow, and very userfriendly
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a lot of security (rights), which takes a lot of time to find in the admin guide.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was a test of replicating from SAP HANA to SQL. Worked without problems

Great tool for Divestitures and Carve out Projects
What do you like best about the product?
It is the equivalent of the "scalpel for a surgeon" since it provides an efficient way to extract only the data related to your organizational structure (company codes, plants, sales organizations, etc.) you want to carve out from your SAP environment. Plus you can hire the "surgeon" services by hiring Qlik.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not an end user tool. At least you want to train your personnel to be the "surgeon" for Qlik Replicate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this tool for carve out projects mainly since it provides an easy way to extract data related to a specific business (group of company codes and plants). It is a very clean and affordable way to replicate in a new SAP environment to be shipped with the rest of the assets to the buyer.
It works at reasonable work loads
What do you like best about the product?
GUI and plug and play. components. Alerting monitoring
What do you dislike about the product?
Did not scaleup for higher workloads .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we have just piloted for few customers .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
overall good product for reasonable work loads
Attunity with SAP ECC
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is the implementation speed. It is very easy to install and make the product up-and-running. Also, the UI is very user friendly and self explanatory.
Once you have the configuration done on the backend database and on SAP Application layer, it is pretty straight forward to start replicating data.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are still quite a few bugs in the tool, either depending on the particular system connected, or more like a design problem. Then it comes to support, I unfortunately cannot give 100/100 marks to the support. Simply because the problems are not well addressed, lack of documentation and the Knowledge base is not rich enough for a tool that's in the market for such long time. Hopefully Qlik will improve this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When it comes to extracting data from SAP ECC at table level, it is never an easy task. moreover, if your organization has more lots of SAP instances and lots of data, RFC method does not meet the requirements. Therefore, a full load and CDC is the only way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please run through a very precise POC, since your particular system can be customized which might not be out-of-the-box. Overall, we're happy with our choice.
Excellent Product
What do you like best about the product?
It enables us to transform data at the latest stage rather than in ETL loads, so it's more ELT which is one of the advantages. It is also in near real-time, which brings significant advantage for our embedded analytics approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support-wise, this solution is in need of improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- centralization of several databases, data streaming.
- Load reduction: Keeping a complete or partial copy of a collection on a different
server reduces the load on the main server.
- Improved service: Accessing a copy of the data can provide better service to
users than having them access the original data.
- Restricted data access: If some users should only have access to a subset of
data, replicating only part of a collection makes it easy to enforce security
restrictions.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
the technique used for replication, ease of use, transformation options, multiple destinations (targets), and origins (source) or Perhaps the form of licensing by the database core is bad, easy to use.
Integrity: The target data must reflect the complete result of all changes made to
the source data during the replication process.
Consistency: If a change affects different tables, rows, or files, the copy must
reflect these changes consistently across all affected tables, rows, or files.
Latency: The replication process must aim at keeping latency at a minimum.
Ideally, it should not exceed a few seconds.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use web interface that allows easy set up and control tasks. Allows us to offload some work from our main server. You can easily reload tables with a click of a button. Can create multiple tasks and group tables together by functionality if you desire. You also have the ability to add filters to filter data and/or add some global calculated columns to your destination tables. Inside each task you can set the load order priority on a table so it can be loaded right away, or towards the end of the task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have to make sure you use the correct browser so some features work better. Also it would be nice to be able to schedule multiple destinations under a task in which you could then have those tables refresh on different scheduled intervals as well. When reloading a task it will truncate all the tables then reload them so you could have some time with several tables empty. It would be nice if it would only truncate the table right before it began loading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replicating off of Oracle to SQL server. Allows us to take extra load off our source server.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We found creating multiple tasks to be more beneficial then having one tasks with every table in it. This way if you do have to reload or a task fatal errors for a reason not all your tables get truncated on reload. Also setting the table load priority on more important tables is really nice option to get the tables you want loaded first, done first.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Qlik Replicate has been ideally positioned to enable rapid deployment of business services that have near-real-time data demands. An entire facet of our organization's interactions with customers has been overhauled where Qlik Replicate plays a critical role.
Migration from Attunity to Qlik was okay, but saleforce/cases migration is very bad
What do you like best about the product?
Its definitely one of the beset tool in market. Replicating data from databases is much easier and simpler
What do you dislike about the product?
1. saleforce/case site
2. Bugs - several bugs which are hard to find
3. very frequent patches - probably due to several bug fixes
4. Poor Testing on new patches

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replicating data from several DB's. Moving data from various sources to target databases.
CDC Solution with bonus Simple ETL Feature
What do you like best about the product?
I used Qlik Replicate (formerly Attunity Replicate) from 2019 , ny company have huge OLTP per day perminute even per second, with Qlik Replicate our data from OLTP can be distribute in near real-time to our Data Warehouse. Before that , our apps can use data from OLTP with Day-1 Data (yesterday) , now our apps can use same day data indirectly its really helps our business process and operational to achive our company target. I personally love the ability to replicate into multiverse database, CDC Feature & Operation Indicator function from Qlik Replicate
What do you dislike about the product?
maybe we need some feature like if ..else.. then.. / if zero value then.. else.. . just like ifnull() function .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CDC feature is not supported in Oracle 12c SE2 , Qlik Replicate is the solution to this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
if you search to replicate your database to another platform , then Qlik Replicate is your choice! you can do simple ETL, to fullfill your needs.
