Satisfied with the service but there are areas for improvement.

Versatile Codec Support for Diverse Content
What do you like best about the product?
Wowza's support for a wide range of codecs and formats is a huge plus. It takes the headache out of transcoding and ensures that my content is accessible to a diverse audience without compatibility issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've encountered occasional compatibility issues with certain devices and browsers when using Wowza. Ensuring seamless playback across all platforms and devices can sometimes require extra troubleshooting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wowza's robust codec and format support solve the headache of compatibility issues that I've faced in the past. However, it's true that occasionally, I encounter challenges with certain devices and browsers. Despite this, the troubleshooting efforts required are outweighed by the seamless playback experience it offers once everything is set up correctly. It's a small trade-off for the broader benefits.
It was do it yourself at first but a rewarding platform to put to high capacity use
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to deliver on different renditions and ingest from almost everywhere around the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
The huge load of options to tune in the engine dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cost problem as I previously used Wowza Streaming Service which is a wholesome solution but not much cost friendly. My usage was little below 3000 concurrent users so streaming engine was more than enough.
Flexibility with the capability to work with any project.
What do you like best about the product?
High level of flexibility and not complex to integrate.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have yet to see any downside...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a web portal that people need to preview audio from and Wowza allows up to build and support that player.
Newer instance types
We use Wowza AMIs all around the world and they work pretty good.
Do you have a plan for supporting newer instance types? We use c4.4xlarge EC2 instances in most regions, but in some regions they are not available. Only newer instance type c5.4xlarge is available but your AMI doesn't support it. Could you please add it? Thank!
g2 instances not available
Why g2 instances are not available? Is there any particular reason for it? We really have the need to utilize NVENC transcoding capability of g2.
