Outstanding platform for simple ETL pipelines
What do you like best about the product?
Everything.
ETL development is straightforward with Knime.
The learning curve is fast, and we can deliver results to the stakeholders in a few hours.

What do you dislike about the product?
Without the Knime Server, it's hard to schedule ETLs pipelines. We need to do some workarounds with bash to execute the pipelines properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data migration, extract, transform and load data from one point to another.

Workflows for Everything!
What do you like best about the product?
The vast number of nodes available in Knime offers excellent flexibility and coverage for almost all types of business challenges. It also provides excellent connectivity and integration with different platforms, a value addition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Knime requires a lot of configuration for even the most simple excel tasks that are pretty challenging for new users to understand and work with. Apart from this, everything works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving our needs of creating workflows with integration to Appian, helping a remediate lot of manual work to automated workflows. Also, It helps our program's cost-effectiveness.
Easy to Learn for non-code Users
What do you like best about the product?
It's effortless to use for anyone with a business analysis background or minimal code experience. We can create visual workflows which are easy to understand/explain to others. Only advanced excel knowledge or logical/analytical skills are needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface can be improved; it's not very beginner friendly. It lags sometimes and becomes very slow when working with large files. It takes up a lot of memory just to start the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's straightforward to onboard excel heavy users on automating tasks. We can make users self reliant on doing basic data pre-processing, making quick visuals and automating tasks.

Good trchnological tool with some great data prepration components

Processing time os very slow and have limited finctions in data transformation

Very powerful software for analytics and provide instant support.

Very user-friendly, has immediate results, and is easy to use. Data engineering, science and visualization tools.

Some challenges while solving the problems. R&D for the unique cases shall be difficult.

Solving data science problems with plug-and-play activities. Drag and drop; it is like a no-code platform

What do you like best about the product?
The knime has a plaug and play kind of programming knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Advanced changes to each component requires person to have JAVA knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was used as a ETL platform in our project. It's a free tool for reading from text files and hence was very much helpfull.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the possibility to automate a lot of work that I usually do at my job. It is very easy to import and export data from/to Excel file.

I try difficult to read data from some typed of Database (eg. Access)

Automate some operations that I would otherwise have to do manually. This allows you to speed up my work and make fewer mistakes. It's also easy to re-read the project after weeks, as the building blocks are very intuitive.

What do you like best about the product?
High flexibility and open source platform for end to end ETL build and transformation which is easy to learn and implement

The interface is very old fashioned could make the front end much smooth for an overall smooth operation and experience

Helps us source data from external source and ingest into our target all work done on the GUI so highly recommend using knime

It is a technological tool that helps you to simplify the work of analytics, it allows you to reduce time.

At this point there is nothing that I can say that I don't like about it , I still need to continue working more projects with it.

It has helped me solve the lengthy process of compiling information from RFP processes and minimizing data analysis times for vendor offers.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very good platform for drawing graphs from descriptors and setting correlations
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to learn how to use Knime and very less guidance is provided in its help section

I am using it to set correlations between nanocrystals by making graphs through knime
