What do you like best about the product?
Their willingness and ability to help however they can; all resources we've worked with so far are very knowledgeable in their roles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really comes to mind so far. As we are an OEM partner, I don't have any user input.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an OEM partner. We've just recently rolled out a release of our proprietary platform that includes this embedded solution. This high performant tool will help our health plans to quickly access, visualize, drill through, and share data to improve business outcomes and address business questions related to the member's healthcare.

Great BI and data delivery platform
What do you like best about the product?
As the premier company for cannabis industry data and insight, delivering fast, accurate, and visually appealing dashboards for our clients.
Sisense allows us to present data in a visually stunning manner that continually "wows" our clients, with the dashboards seamlessly integrated into our web portal.
The ability to add in 3rd party/custom plug ins, as well as community support for the plug ins makes Sisense very flexible and powerful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some settings can't have their default changed, forcing them to be set manually for each new dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
The speed at which it processes large amounts of information. Pricing is much better than other products.

The visualizations could use a little more flexibility with labeling.

It has given my team the ability to provide metrics dashboards to our entire organization against which their productivity is measured.
Simple, Yet Powerful With Unparalleled Support Team
What do you like best about the product?
The periscope support team is the best support team for any SaaS product. When I worked with competitor products, such as Tableau, I knew there was a lot of functionality but figuring out how to actually use specific features and reading through all the Tableau "hacks" was a slog. With periscope, I can have a half-formed thought about what I want to do and the support team will come back to me with multiple alternatives and live, step-by-step instructions. I think the quality of the support team is key to making periscope great because periscope does have limited functionality compared to some of its more established competitors -- but having people to guide you through hacks to simulate more complex features makes up for that limited functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think periscope is an excellent tool for making monitoring dashboards, but it falls short for data exploration. I don't think periscope is specifically marketed as a competitor to Tableau and others for data exploration, so that's okay -- but obviously I would prefer it if periscope was a one-stop solution to analytics needs. Specifically, working with multiple filters and playing around with different dimensions is easier in a tool like Tableau.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use periscope to make dashboards for product and engineering teams to monitor their KPIs. Periscope's simplicity allows me to iterate quickly and this has helped get product and engineering more excited about using data to make decisions.
Great Solution of Business Analytics

Periscope is a perfect solution for aggregating and analyzing our database. Simple, elegant interface.

Menus can become quickly cluttered when using alerts/dashboards heavily.

What do you like best about the product?
We can spin up dashboards for every part of our business, making us the most metrics-driven company in our industry. Incredibly powerful to be able to visualize all data about every transaction we ever manage on our platform.
Because it's so easy to make these dashboards, we actually do a lot of our work like managing checklists for compliance, reviewing sales pipelines, tracking quota progress, etc right in Periscope. Super easy to pipe salesforce data in as well to manage our own data coming out of our app.

So far nothing, we could not survive as a company without Periscope Data at this point.

It's better (more flexible, faster, more powerful) and cheaper than Looker, Tableau, Domo, or any competing product.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of implementation and multiple levels of security enabled us to be able to quickly deploy to customers in our multi-tennant environment. Novice users can easily create dashboards with just a basic understanding of the data sets. The interface works almost as a wizard for adding useful KPI. From a technical standpoint, product owner with a technical BA background is able to maintain the application and customer deployments with little intervention from IT resources. Sisence listens to their user base as is evident with some of the changes coming in newer releases are the result of requests we have made
What do you dislike about the product?
Ownership of a dashboard object is very tightly coupled to the owner. IT is difficult for system admins to discover dashboards created by other users

Super easy... yet Super Powerful!!!
What do you like best about the product?
We had previously implemented another analytics product without success. Not only was it extrememly difficult to get implemented and integrated with our system(s), making changes to existing dashboards or creating new dashboards had to be handled by a developer. With Sisense, not only were the dashboards super easy to create and modify, but building the cubes was something I was able to do without the need of development assistance. Hands down the best investment we've made!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some questions during employment that required the purchased support pack. It took two weeks to get a scheduled meeting with the applicant person in support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were interested in providing advanced sales and pipeline analysis for our customers. Adding Sisense has helped us enhance customer loyalty and drive increased sales.

They're partially based in Israel, so some of the support techs don't speak English as their first language. (still not as bad as other foreign support personnel)

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Full stack BI (ETL, DW, and reporting in one) is a new concept in the BI field. Birst, Qlik, Sisense, and Cloud9 are the only products I know of that accomplish this in some way. We reviewed all and POC tested Birst, Qlik and Sisense. Sisense absolutely ran circles around the competition in terms of their capabilities, features, speed and ease of use. For us reviewers, the choice was a no contest.
Sisense is easy to use and gives me the end to end business intelligence capability in one product.
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is easy to set-up and requires minimal involvement from IT. Dashboards are quick and easy to build and share.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sisense has minimal integration capability to my predictive analytics application. I use statistical process control methods in my business and the associated graphs I need have minimal support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sisense in an OEM model. I provide solutions that allow other business to improve their productivity in their customer support centers and field service business processes.
