after creation, not possible to connect to ... documentation none

  • April 24, 2022
  • Review verified by AWS Marketplace

everything went smooth to the point when I wanted to login through rdp.
no password given, cannot get it through 'get windows password' (no password available as it's a custom ami, message says). Documentation almost non existent. The only way to reset the password is the recover lost password procedure, OMG!

Did I miss anything?

Partitioning does not provide as much options as oracle.

For my daily needs to develop my software and communicate with DB and store my data.

What do you like best about the product?
The free and light version of the SQL server provides many of the features of the paid, full versions of the Microsoft SQL Server database management system.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has technical restrictions that make it unsuitable for some large-scale deployments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I utilized it in Azure by installing it on an Azure virtual machine and developed small server-driven applications.
