Great analytics tool - with LOTS of insights
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Amplitude Analytics makes it possible to track SO MUCH data and get lots of insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because there is so much data available, it can be difficult to find ones way around. Additionally, finding the right event triggers in order to built charts can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is giving us a lot of insighst on website and conversion data, which helps inform our web projects and conversion focus.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and intuitive to understand if instrumented correctly. This also helps save a lot of time infinding intersting insights as a PM not having to wait for analysts to provide results.
Very good for usage pattern and behaviour insights, although it is very important that the instrumentation is accurate otherwise you'll be left scratching your head as to why it makes no sense.
I have now used it across 2 companies and have a pretty good expereince.
One of the best features I like is the pathfinder(similar to user flows in G-analytics)

What do you dislike about the product?
- Learning curve can be sometimes steep for users who are non-tech background or are unfamiliar with analytics tool.
- Data instrumentation is critical. It is very important that the instrumentation is accurate otherwise you'll be left scratching your head as to why it makes no sense. Faced this in previous org but not in current.
- We have many users who have never opened amplitude(mostly from buss side and even within product) so make sure the licences you purchase will be used.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily work for end user adoption and although there is no direct way to associate it with business metrics and there is associated cost on adding more metrics.

What do you like best about the product?
Highly customizable which allows to build different views to understand the user journey. The user streams in particular are very helpful. Amplitude is really good at joining multiple user sessions as it identifies them uniquely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not allowing to create a pie chart for user cohorts

Understanding user behaviour and patterns to identify problems in the product. Amplitude funnel allows to understand the drops and then dig deeper via user streams.

Tracking is easy here. Most of the things are easily visible.

There are some limitations while we try to imagine beyond its capabilities

A GAME CHANGER TOOL FOR A DIGITAL PRODUCT
What do you like best about the product?
The possibility of handling my data govern in a DATA with the govern add-on is the most impactfull feature. But having the possibility of grabing experimentation data into the analytics metrics for the filters is impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have some limitations with exporting data because it doesn't apply my govern modifications and event-name transformations. But, the realtime compensate :)

Extremely granular but at the same time easy to use and learn
What do you like best about the product?
When I first joined my team that uses Amplitude, I was a bit nervous because I'd never used it before. But it was so easy to learn!
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like it can sometimes feel a bit "too powerful" and complex, making it hard to know how to do certain things (or get certain insights).

Amplitude is helping me understand how to make decisions on my product.
Easy to Use with Quick Dashboard Creation
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Amplitude Analytics is its ease of use. It allows for very quick creation of dashboards, and you can define your own metrics easily. This makes it very convenient to track and analyze the data you need. The limited number of chart types I use are more than sufficient for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Amplitude Analytics is the lack of UI feedback when copying dashboards or charts. It takes some time for the copy to be moved to its destination, and during this period, there's no indication if the copying process has started, is in progress, or if there's an issue. Improving this would greatly enhance the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics is solving the problem of efficiently tracking and analyzing user behavior and product performance. It benefits me by providing a user-friendly platform to quickly create dashboards and define custom metrics. This allows me to easily monitor key performance indicators and make data-driven decisions to improve our product and user experience.
Great for quick exploration of data in a user-friendly interface.

Ability to quickly build graphs and see the available events and properties to pick from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Comparisons are limited: selecting the end date to compare to instead of the start date is inconvenient and no ability to compare to multiple past periods.
Users are always the unique identifier - but often I want to consider events by unique membership rather than unique user, as a user can have more than one membership.

Ability to track purchase events, membership signups and customer retention over time. Exploration of other metrics quickly and easily. Improves the timeliness of decision making in our campaigns.
