Easy UI, Effective Solution
What do you like best about the product?
It's variety of compatibilities and it's commitment to keep adding to the list
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is responsive, but a little slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fivetran is quickly and efficiently pulling data from almost all of our source systems and making it easy for us to transform it in our data warehouse.

Absolutely seamless data pipeline automation solution with an interesting pricing model
What do you like best about the product?
The solution is absolutely intuitive and works seamlessly. It has scheduled maintenances from time-to-time, but nothing that obstructs daily business. The connectors have a very easy set-up and sync process. The pricing model also seems to be pretty reasonable if you are using the solution to connect multiple data sources, but with low-mid volume of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of connectors are a bit limited and their custom connector creation is completely on you and is not really user-friendly. Also, a lot of connectors only have a full sync of all possible data you have on a source system and not selective sync that enables you take only the required data to your destination. This leads to unnecessary data being dumped on to your destination and incurs more costs to the client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fivetran enables us connect multiple data sources and siloed systems with very less effort and that helps us focus on driving business outcomes rather than focussing on ETL and creating data pipelines. Fivetran also helps us connect to systems that have no direct connection to our visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Pricing structure makes it nearly impossible to cost and resell

consistently updating multiple data sources into a data warehouse. great concept and simplifies an important part of the process

Slow response on incidents, we used to got more than 2 weeks downtime of Facebook pages connectors and Fivetran refused all responsibilities.

Pre-built connectors help us to push up the data extraction process

What do you like best about the product?
Fivetren makes data processes simple/quick. Our team likes how easy it is to start without any coding. There are many turn-key connectors available, which is great for businesses that we provide IT services for. Also, their netsuite connector helps us move data smoothly. The interface is quite user-friendly, so we can delegate tasks to junior data specialists within our tema and cut maintenance costs for our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
A recurring concern is the pricing model, particularly the cost associated with automating and tracking historical data and data warehouse tables. The model based on monthly active rows can be confusing, making it challenging to forecast expenses, especially for our enterprise customers with vast amounts of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Fivetran as one of the key elements of our client's data systems. It assists with ELT, offers out-of-the-box integrations for most of the common SaaS tools our clients use, and then the data goes straight to the warehouse. We also created three custom connectors ourselves. Everything works pretty smoothly and requires little attention for maintenance.

What do you like best about the product?
The set up of the tool is very easy. The tool also has wide range of connectors; customer support is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is little on the higher end so I wouldn't recommend for early stage orgs. There is slight learning curve involved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool helps us pull data from multiples systesm i.e. Salesforce, HubSpot, Google AdWords. It also saves us a lot of time to integrate these systems and centralize the data at data warehouse level (Snowflake). The tools is literal plug and play.

What do you like best about the product?
Fivetran seamlessly automates the data flow from our CDP (Segment) to our staging warehouse (Google Big Query), ensuring timely and efficient data integration for our marketing dashboards. The extensive range of connectors allows us to integrate various data sources, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of our TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU marketing strategies.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Fivetran is efficient, it offers limited customization options, which can be a challenge when dealing with diverse data sources and complex transformations. In our case it was Intercom. The cost of using Fivetran may be a concern for smaller projects with a limited budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Fivetran for transforming and validating data for our marketing dashboards. It plays a crucial role in providing insights into our conversion funnels and helping us optimize our marketing and customer success strategies.

This streamlined process has enhanced our ability to monitor and analyze our Acquisition & Activation, Activation & Retention, and Referral & Revenue efforts, corresponding to TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU stages respectively.

Providing the best all-around Headless solution but at a high price
What do you like best about the product?
We used Fivetran with their Headless Powered by Fivetran solution and it's incredibly helpful, quick and easy to setup and it handles pretty much everything, user authentication included (which others don't).
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing based on number of rows makes it nearly impossible to be able to predict before-hand how much each connector is going to use and in addition to that ends up being quite expensive (compared to price per number of connectors as many other providers do)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralize marketing and business data from our Agency's clients in order to provide them with better insights and additional analysis in a quick and semi-automated way.

Some bad surprises sometimes on number of rows synced.

Making all of our tools' (SFDC, Sheets, etc.) data queryable in a single place (Snowflake)
Very happy despite a rocky start
What do you like best about the product?
I found the Shopify connector to be the best of all the solutions I evaluated, and has worked really efficiently and smoothly since the implementation.The product notifications are also relevant, inisghtful and timeous while the portal interface is also clean, simple and easy to use. Overall, a really solid product at a great pricepoint for what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a bumpy start where the support provided during the trial phase was really not what I would have expected from a global company, however once the issues were resolved the solution has worked flawlessly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating customised reporting and analysis out of a platform like Shopify is not easy, which is something that Fivetran has allowed us to do in an efficient way. Simple, easy to use connection to move the data to an environment in which we have more control and flexibility is exactly what we wanted, and got!
