What do you like best about the product?
Support is a big factor is whether or not I like a 3rd party service, and Alert Logic support is very helpful when dealing with setup, configuration, mitigation and resolution of all the problems that might arise in our AWS deployments. They have always been helpful and integration has always been easy when working on setup in our environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something that could be helpful is a smoother workflow for incidents and exposures. I understand that there are a lot of issues that come through and a lot of data to comb through to keep your environment secure, but it can get overwhelming openeing the incidents or exposures tab and seeing all of those notifications, often times duplicates of a single issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving a lot of security issues that we see! Although I said workflow can be better in the previous question, it still is super helpful getting most of our exposures and incidents taken care of due to the help of support.

What do you like best about the product?
Provideds a lot of info on CVEs and remediation for alerts
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to group vulnerabilities by solution. I.E. if a specific patch/update resolves multiple alerts, grouping them would make it easier to proritize in an organizations action plans.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple and quick setup, the accuracy in detecting threats. Integration with our existing tools, official workshops and highly expert support. Getting vulnerability reports and visibility into the nodes is a great help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price is high for SMB, customization are handled from the back system, takes so much to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proactive threat detection and response. Compliance. Its has been handling most of the heavy lifting for us. Visibility across our landscape. Support is very punctual to respond and schedule on-demand sessions.

Alert Logic MDR Brings Value to small Security Teams

What do you like best about the product?
The Alert Logic MDR brings tremendous value to our small security team giving us 24/7/365 coverage for security alerting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that we had was introducing another portal we had to log into to get the security alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using the embedded MDR within our Cloud provider and self-managing that. We also did not have staffing 24/7 to monitor. The Alert Logic MDR solved for this at a cost that was well below adding additonal staff and training.

What do you like best about the product?
We are using Alert Logic MDR solution from almost 4 years and providing support to different customers. There are number of factor to consider for AL MDR solutions.
1. Alert Logic UI is very simplified
2. You can search logs very easily with filters
3. Vendor is proactively monitor all the events and informed customer in timely basic with email notification and calls.
4. Easy to manage/configure for Vulnerability scans and get reports in different format. PCI scan is very much usable for audits.
5. Get report quickly with various options to configure and download/schedule it.
6. You can reach our to vendor very easily and their response is very good
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't explored for agent based Vulnerability scanning as of now but not found any option for it. Compare to other solution which provide agent based host scanning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Network Scanning, Log collections, Network traffic monitoring and identifying threats and vulnerabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
AlertLogic MDR provides comprehensive visibility into all activity on our network at a level we did not have before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some confusion about how to deploy agents in a way that does not allow workstations to act as remote collectors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before implementing AlertLogic we had very limited visibility into our network. We really had nothing beyond firewall logs. AlertLogic is providing comprehensive network visibility, vulnerability scans, and another layer of endpoint protection.

What do you like best about the product?
Alert Logic is user-friendly and offers experienced staff to assist with the onboarding process. We opted for the 24/7 SOC due to our limited security team staff within a large organization. The app alerts us to potential high and critical risks, helping to ensure our company's safety. The dashboard is intuitive and efficient, and contacting their experts regarding any incident-related issues is straightforward. Communication with Fortra is prompt, and we utilize and monitor Fortra daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration process has been somewhat sluggish because the IT system is complex. For solutions like this that run continuously in the background, it is advisable to conduct vulnerability scans during off-peak production hours to avoid slowing down the main production.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is small, consisting of a mix of seasoned members and those who are new and less experienced. In the past, we had limited insight into our IT network, but with recent improvements in visibility, we realized the absence of a 24/7 Security Operations Center team. Consequently, we decided to engage an external SOC service with Fortra.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Proactive, Alert, Quick to respond Alert Logic MDR is online. Always on the prowl, always analysing threat scenarios, always on hand to respond and mitigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The drawback that stands out for me is that it doesn't have a centralized place to work with. Just that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, it helps with Softwares, Applications and Systems Threats monitoring, response and management. Which ensures smooth performances.

What do you like best about the product?
If it's about cloud threat detection and mitigation of malware, viruses that can occur during sharing and collaboration online, then Alert Logic is your no nonsense partner. I like its real-time handling, alerts, reporting which gives one peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, all I need it for is the sense of security it guarantees in the course of receiving and sharing with superiors sensitive staff and potential staff info. It's perfect so no complains.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically, it takes care of any malware, viruses and related threats when It comes to handling sensitive and personal data. Allowing me to concentrate on real staff analysis, engagement and on-boarding.
