Secure Frame too evaluation
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is super easy to use and very intuitive and the best thing is competetive price for companies that can't afford to use, for soc2 compliance
What do you dislike about the product?
I find some of the integrations with third party doesn't have set-up instructions for exam ple windows agent, I have to rely on some one to show me how it works

we are using it for soc2 compliance for our SaaS product

Disappointingly focused on checklists over business value
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is focused on automated compliance checks, and takes the hard work out of performing the checks it is able to automate. You can also add manual checks and carry those out yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall product is focused on meeting checklists over business value. If you want to do information security based on first identifying risks, prioritising the ones that matter, and then addressing things that look important - it's not the product for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Secureframe avoids writing your own web app, or complicated spreadsheet, to track compliance of an IT asset inventory. You even get some of the data points filled in automatically.
A great security tool with so many uses.
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is super easy to use and very intuitive, it has a great number of useful features, the integrations are very fast and effective, and we have always felt supported by their great customer support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the automated vendor reviews were part of the basic version. Also I wish you could batch apply settings to multiple selected tickets. And the saving each individual setting in each ticket can be tedious - I wish there was a "Save and Close" Function for all settings in each ticket.

Keeping security checks and policies all in a centralized location.
Great way to simplify SOC2 compliance and tracking
What do you like best about the product?
It was extremely simple to get started, and they have everything we needed to get SOC2 compliant and maintain monitoring without having to go through a lengthy process. For a startup where SOC2 is important, but our team doesn't have budget for a dedicated security and compliance team, it was great. The integrations with the 3rd party applications for ongoing monitoring were great, and the continuous compliance checklist is helpful as well. Implementation was easy, and provided policy docs helped us have a great starting point. They also had a great customer success team to help us get things going, and partners for low cost, but reputable, audits and penetration tests. We have used it for SOC2 type 1 and type 2.
What do you dislike about the product?
The device management and asset tracking could be better, but seems to be improving. I also wish the tasks for team members for ongoing activities like yearly security trainings, device management, etc. would be more clear. Last, adding HIPPA compliance checklists without a significant additional cost or separate process would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplifying SOC2 compliance so that a startup can maintain SOC2 compliance, maintain evidence for monitoring periods, etc. wihtout a large security team or overly difficult process.
First Time Startup
What do you like best about the product?
I heard about Secureframe through a friend running a different startup, and his positive experiences were a big reason I chose Secureframe for our SOC 2 compliance journey. The team demonstrated a range of expertise and was able to answer a wide variety of questions I had throughout the process. Secureframe connected seamlessly to our Azure environment, which made the initial setup both quick and efficient. Their support and knowledge have made the entire compliance experience straightforward. I would highly recommend Secureframe to any company looking to obtain their SOC 2 certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
Secureframe organizes the compliance journey into manageable tasks, each designed to guide you through research and completion. While the support team is excellent, I found that some tasks lacked sufficient detail or examples, which occasionally required reaching out for clarification. A more comprehensive approach to task instructions would enhance the experience, allowing for greater independence and efficiency in the process.

As a first time CTO, I did a lot of research on SOC2 complience. Their step by step approach helped me organize the required documentation needed for the eventual audit.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe has helped us track and log our steps through the ISMS program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. I feel like Secureframe has been good to us.

Easy to use Compliance Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I find that the system layout is straight forward. I used another system in the past and found the layout of SecureFrame to be easier to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not integrate with as many outside vendors as I would like or as deeply with some of the ones that are there. But the easy to use platforms make manual uploads easy to produce with the guided walkthroughs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We achieved a favorable SOC 2 Type II report using the Secureframe Platform. The majority of the organization had zero understanding of what the tests entailed or where to begin. The Secureframe Platform broke down the tests and tasks that needed to be completed for compliance into manageable and understandable components.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe has been instrumental for our business to achieve our annual SOC2 compliance. Working directly with our Chief Compliance Officer I have seen how Secureframe can shorten our time to get ready for our SOC2 audit, coordinate tasks across the company especially if it's 100+ employees or more that you need to get to complete tasks and keep track of what is missing. It's very easy to use from setting up templates for different policies, to tracking progress, to running annual security trainings and renewing SOC2 or GDPR compliance audits and checks. I highly recommend it to any business but especially businesses that are in a space where regulations or data security are especially important. Secureframe helps streamline the compliance process so that we can focus on running our core business.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times reminders are not clear to employees and we had to follow up repeatedly but that is something we can manage. Otherwise not much to add.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe streamlines our SOC2 audit, GDPR compliance and going forward via the Trust Center our vendor risk assessments.

What do you like best about the product?
I think it's easy to use with a clean User Interface. I really like the customer support and the automation features such as integrating with AWS.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if it provided more help for terraform and had more instuctions for everything.
