A great soc 2 compliance partner
What do you like best about the product?
Automated testing of SOC 2 controls, which saves a ton of time. There are hundreds of tests, and manually tracking and monitoring them is a nuisance and a distraction from the core business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, there are bugs in the UI. The team is quick to respond and help with issues however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining SOC 2 compliance is a business requirement. Without an automated platform to track tests, policies, employee review/acceptance of policies, vendors, risks, etc, it would be a huge burden to achieve and maintain compliance. The platform also helps auditors audit the controls and their performance. This cuts down the time and effort for the audit.

What do you like best about the product?
We were unable to implement as the integration with AWS was not working and our tickets with the team were open for months.
When we asked for support from the sales rep who overpromised our emails were ignored.

What do you dislike about the product?
Bad support, interfaces with AWS don't work very well, the security client is clunky.
The biggest issue is that the control is hard to understand and the AWS imports are read-only\view only there is no mitigation on the platform.

They are ISO and other audit management tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe is pretty straightforward to get up and running. It's essentially an automated "buddy" that helps bring you through all of the activities you need in order to be compliant with whatever certification you're seeking.
It saves a ton of time by generating policy templates and tight integration with all the vendors we use. You'll then get a "report" on how to fix any issues you need in order to become compliant, with clear instructions on how to fix them.
The customer success team (we worked with Brady Price) has been extremely helpful and responsive along the way.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love if they incorporated some sort of estimated level of effort for each failing test, so we can plan accordingly for how much time is left to complete them. This would also help with prioritizing/planning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're seeking our SOC2 (type 1 and 2) and are using Secureframe to help put us in a position to become audited. They have really handled everything end to end in order to prep us for the audit.
Great tool for SMEs to become ISO 27001 certified in no time!
What do you like best about the product?
I like best that Secureframe integrates with our most relevant systems, i.e. AWS, GCP, Github, Jira, Hibob, Google Workspace, Kolide and 1Password. This makes managing and monitoring our ISMS not just easy for me, the ISMS Manager, but for all stakeholders involved.
Secureframe has further excellent support that comprises technical issues, as they help you understand and implement the different compliance frameworks in detail, matching your organisation's needs.
Lastly, I appreciate how fast Secureframe reflects customers' UI/UX and general feedback on their platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
As a reasonably new product, there are platform areas that are more sensitive towards bugs - which is not a problem because once reported, Secureframe immediately investigates and solves the bugs. It is also not a hindrance to certification.
Besides, as a European-based company, we wish for a complete GDPR tool to have our GDPR monitoring and management on the same platform as our ISMS.

The Securerfame product is easy to use and has excellent support resources who are eager to help.

Audits are done by 3rd party firms and aren't up to the same quality of service provided by Secureframe.

A high-level priority order of events would be helpful within the platform.

Secureframe - What a time saver!!!
What do you like best about the product?
My first impression was, Wow, easy to understand interface and great dashboard to show the executives. Once I started getting into it, I realized what a huge time saver this would be in working towards our SOC 2 certification. At first, we tried to go at it alone following published standards, and it became evident that we would never achieve what we wanted in the short amount of time we had. After initializing Secureframe and syncing all our 3rd party applications, we let Secureframe do what they said it would do. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly we saw results.
From there, it was now what controls needed attention; we didn't have to worry about the ones already passing and focused our time on those not passing. Secureframe took us from trying to do it on our own over months to weeks. Another tremendous time-saving aspect is working with their partner auditors. These auditors are familiar with the application and reporting that it free's up my time to work on other things while the auditors use the application to confirm our controls.
BTW, their support team is second to none. Support was quick to respond and resolved my issue within an hour. My CSM is always available and has been a great help in the onboarding process and follow-up.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not that this is about what I dislike, but I did notice a few outdated instructions on the test pages, which made it a little more challenging to follow along. The current instructions made it easy how to correct a failed control. Most of this was within the AWS integration. AWS is constantly changing, so I attribute this more to AWS than Secureframe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe is helping us achieve SOC 2 compliance quickly. Our customers have been asking for what certifications we have, what industry standards we are following, etc., during the sales cycle, which has prolonged the deal closure. We can now get our certification and present it during the sales cycle, which will shorten the process and get the deals closed faster. As a SaaS company, that is all we hear now, "Are you SOC 2?". We can now answer "Yes". With Secureframe, we've been able to get the certification much faster than had we gone on our own.

The software is not what they claim it to be. Very complicated and the support is very bad.

We were Beta testers with the Audit that went very well but just like any Beta test some of the communication from the Secureframe platform to the Auditor could have been better.

The were fast, cost-effective and Easy to use, with excellent customer Service. They were always very responsive.
Secureframe has been extremely helpful as we have prepared for our SOC 2 Type 2 audit.

The integrations that are available to pull our data automatically and ensure we have the required practices in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more detailed instructions for the failing tests would have been helpful. There was recently an update that has helped alleviate this issue, so progress is being made!

Secureframe is helping us know what areas we need to work on within our business to ensure we comply with SOC 2 regulations.
