Innovative tool with fantastic support team!

What do you like best about the product?
Statsig has wildly exceeded my expectations! Our company had never had any sort of testing before, and when we were looking through platforms, it was hard to know what we needed. But the StatSig team was super willing to work with us on contract price and help us through setup and implementation. They're super responsive to any questions we have, whether it's a technical implementation question or a question on how to explain something tricky to a stakeholder. The tool itself has been great - it's straightforward to use, which has really helped with adoption amongst the team and to start building more of a testing culture at our company. Their team is also really responsive to feature requests and actually implements feedback into their roadmap - a lot of companies say they'll do this during the sales process but then never follow through. I'd recommend StatSig for any company starting out with experimentation and testing!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can think of is that it's just an experimentation platform, so I do have to use it separately from our other product analytics tools. But that hasn't been a real pain point!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statsig is helping us understand the impact of product features we release. Before using StatSig, we would just ship features and pray that they'd change the bottom line (and usually, they didn't). Now, by having a way to test all of our releases, we can be more strategic about our roadmap planning, understand the impact (or lack of) of the work we're doing, and allocate our dev resources more effectively. It's entirely changed the culture at our company and how we think about product!

StatSig - A great tool for feature flags

  • November 24, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
+ It works and is relibable.
+ It is well documented
+ Plenty of adapters (React/Vanilla JS, HTML, etc...)
+ Experiments feature is super nice
+ Integration is super easy
What do you dislike about the product?
- SDK Documentation is wrong (It says "env" instead of StatSig env) - caused a bug on our side.
- Can't add desription to feature gates - when a company grows and works on multiple things, Devs might not know what other people are working on.
- Can't bulk delete feature gates - You must enter into gates one-by-one and delete them.
- The SDK does not support lazy initialization, or refreshing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in a StartUp company, if we needed to implement our own feature gate mechanisms, we would have lost of a ton of time.
It's great that Statsig is a solution that actually solves this for me, and for a great price as well.

Best Web Analytics Platform

  • November 23, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the granularity of the platform. Loved how everything can be tracked plus session replays are extremely useful. Overall wonderful platform
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration process was a but of an issue after moving away from Vercel Analytics where the whole thing was set up instantly using a single component in layout.tsx.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me solve where my users are coming from, how they are using it and also how much they are using it.

Need to improve the first integration part

  • November 22, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It needs to improve the details of how to do the integration, including some sample codes and making it clearer how the logs part works, separated from the development and production environments.

In addition to recommendations or tips on how to create logs focused on user journeys.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, it's been difficult to learn without having to consult the documentation, so that it's not a very technical tool. We're migrating from Mixpanel, and there it's a certain ease of doing things that we haven't found yet in this migration. But there could be an examples tab or something like that, without having to leave the dashboard and that would be quick to consult, like short videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are migrating from Mixpanel because it has become an expensive tool and does not have integration with A/B testing.

Great platform for Experimentation A/B/n tests

  • November 21, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Their product is constantly innovating, and adding features. The StatSig team is very responsive. Setup is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Relatively new company, so there's occaisional issues with uptime. Support is done over Slack and not their own ticketing system which is not ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feature flagging to enable Continuous Deployment without risk, and A/B/n testing with excellent post-experiment analytics.

Statsig gave us observability into our application

  • November 21, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We went from having very little insight into how our users were using our application to having fine-grained, easy-to-add events and chorts.

Being able to quickly update values using Dynamic Config has given us the ability to also leverage other tools like Sentry more effectively by being able to change sampling rates and error collection on the fly based on affected user groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
We implemented Statsig prior to there being a C++ SDK available so there was some initial friction and we had to manage all of the state and HTTP calls ourselves.

Attempting to set up dashboards and explore metrics within the first 24 hours of new event types hitting production is finicky and unreliable. We typically have to wait for a full day to pass before we can start digging into the events in depth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Statsig we we're using GA for our metrics and had only surface level insights. Statsig allows us to filter and monitor user behaviors based on cohort details we can set, and then change Dynamic Config settings to run experiments based on those cohorts.

GA was fine for collecting things like System Info and minor statistics but nothing nearly as interactive.

Faster and safer deployments

  • November 21, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Statsig has a very generous free tier with access to a wide range of features. It is very easy to use for our developers and non-developers alike. The integration with our stack of React and Node.js is realy smooth. We use it constantly to deploy new features to our customers in a safe way with feature flags.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm pretty satifsfied with the product, however I think their analytics solutions still misses some features that are present in more mature products, but it's overall a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statsig allows to ship features under feature gates, making our deployments safer. We also use it to A/B test new features to see if they meet our expectations.

It just works

  • November 19, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It just works. I use it for product analytics dashboards and feature gating for https://scoutos.com and it's easy to use, reliable and not lacking in functionality. The team is very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Statsig for product analytics dashboarding and feature gating for a couple months now and don't have any dislikes to report yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need help with product analytics dashboarding, feature gating for feature management and entitlements. It really helps us move fast as a startup and gives us great visibility into and control over our product.

Good tool, is resolving a lot of problems that we faced with other similar tools

  • November 19, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The sdk is easy to implement, there is a lot of features to use, A/B test, product analytics, remote config, etc.

So far, is a very powerful tool and its replacing two other similar products that are implemented in our front-ends.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no websocket or a way to fetch the experiments updates in real-time on our front-end applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving a powerful tool to manage A/B testing, product analytics and feature flags.

Statsig helped us transform the way we operate our cloud solution

  • November 15, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Statsig was very easy to integrate with and implement in our platform, and their support team was always available for us with any questions that came up and when we needed to have training sessions for the team.
The product is very feature-rich, although we've been only using a small portion of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
We didn't run into many issues with Statsig.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statsig allowed us to gradually launch features on production, and to enable certain features only to specific customers without impacting the entire customer-base.
