Easily deploy and scale models as API endpoints
What do you like best about the product?
Algorithmia provides a convenient platform for hosting hosting machine learning models. There is a public marketplace and a private enterprise version. The platform supports robust API documentation. It is an easy platform for data scientists or machine learning enthusiasts to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deploying an algorithm requires copying code into the Algorithmia platform. We prefer to structure our code as importable libraries to improve portability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is hosting our production models with Algorithmia. This has helped the data team deploy models with 100% availability.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
First write code, then add the code to the Algorithmia platform.
Play around with the public marketplace at first. If you like it, consider using the enterprise version for deploying private machine learning models.

Review of Algorithmia
What do you like best about the product?
The AI Layer abstracts your models from infrastructure, so you can do more of what matters as you scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
Do not dislike anything. Its a okay product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The algorithm is pretty good with what I need done
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not bad
Best for ML/AI marketplace
What do you like best about the product?
It built world-class algorithms for the marketplace. I was with a problem with terabytes of data and Algorithmia was so fast and easy. I is compatible with every OS and their API's makes its easy to even integrate it with website
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much of customer support and some things are difficult to understand but at end they respond to your problems and also file ticket for particular problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My problem deals with images. So its more towards analyzing specific features of a car from a distance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a great cloud based software. I would recommend it to startups as its cheaper than others.
Great job
What do you like best about the product?
Algorithmic helped us making our application more user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no downside, they were professional and efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More users on our app.
Algorithms for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
This platform is easy to use and makes implementing AI large scale super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to use for those not versed in tech.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy to use if you have a tech background but not so much otherwise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very easy to implement the daunting use of ML.
Great and easy to use service for machine learning
What do you like best about the product?
I got setup with Algorithmia in minutes and was able use the functionality quickly
Algorithmia allows us to deploy advanced machine learning algorithms quickly, and integrate this into our existing application
Algorithmia allows us to deploy advanced machine learning algorithms quickly, and integrate this into our existing application
What do you dislike about the product?
Quality of some of the algorithms are not very high, so you need to spend some time identifying the right algorithms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ML for language identification of documents and classification of documents to existing categories, based on title and content of sample set
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out if you have a need for machine learning.
Be aware of the pricing

Really helpful to our start-up
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of Algorithmia to the end user was absolutely key being able to deploy some complex algorithms very rapidly for our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the algorithms are fairly old and are no longer functional. It takes some time to sort through these.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabled very rapid development.
An Easy Marketplace and Platform for ML
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to easily find a powerful sentiment algorithm for our company's POC
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost was a double edged sword. Felt cheap on first glance but ended up being the reason for moving forward with Google Cloud solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sentiment analysis leveraging another person's work in the space. Easy access to Rest API gave us the speed and agility we crave!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For speed, I wouldn't look elsewhere. They know their stuff and provide a platform that helps generate value. Overall it may be too expensive for the future needs of the organization but simply assess what your current needs are and more forward accordingly.
Best way to host ML models
What do you like best about the product?
Managed hosting of ML models. Reduces the burden of maintaining and scaling ML infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data can be hosted only on user accounts, but not on organisation accounts.
Cold start performance could be improved.
Cold start performance could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Algorithmia, we were having hard time running ML models in production. Once we found Algorithmia, there was no looking back. It simplified our deployment workflows and significantly reduced our time to market.
ML-Ops as a Service
What do you like best about the product?
I manage a fast pace growing start-up focused on delivering AI services for the retail sector. Our specifications require us to develop, publish and manage many ML models, such as forecast engines, basket analysis algorithms, recommendation systems and so on.
We selected algorithmia as our tool for deploying our ML models. With this we could isolate the work load of publishing ang managing ML models as well as provisioning and infrastructure management. After we implemented algorithmia, our Data Science team was able to focus solely on devising the models and improving accuracy whereas all the job of making it available to customers was carried in the platform.
As a final result we were able to move faster and have our solution deployed in the target schedule.

What do you dislike about the product?
We use the Algorithmia marketplace. It is not a cheap solution. We tried to implement an intermediate version aiming to reduce costs but we could not find a feasible solution in terms of cost.
Unfortunately we are moving our infrastructure do a Lambda Serverless Architecture in AWS. We know that we will lose much of Algorithmia simplicity but we are being forced to make this shift due to cost restrictions.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are publishing ML models in Algorithmia marketplace and using it as internal APIs of our main solution. With this we solved the problem of having to manage and monitor infrastructure for our ML models.
