It is very good software in data management and very easy to operate.
What do you like best about the product?
It's Revision storing capacity (backup).

This software takes time to migrate data.

We stored last all revisions & it's workflow activity is very good. From sitting on our seat we will approve all workflow activity.

Easy product structure configuration with variants of the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cache of physical files like jpeg, png, etc and their corresponding loading on the screen takes much time. A good and thoughtful architecture designof the solution is what is needed to overcome this issue.

Engineering Change Management. Lead to efficient revisioing of parts with latest info available with the team.

Interface , intuitive , easy to learn and great tool for sharing snd storing files

Slow to launch and run the tool and may conflict with other tool that use java

You can view all type of document at one point in team center, approv3d under approval all type of document with show its status

Its server is some time hving issue if you try to decrypt drawing / document it can not do you you have to do twice or thrice

Basically our company is comparessor manufacturing comoany so in our compressor 207 different part available in 1 model only like that we have 120 type so we can go and excess any documents help of team center

Some times it works slow as it depends on server speed, but yes it is because of server specs.

We have resolved to manage big CAD database, and now we can work in team members as many as we want in same project and same model.

Teamcenter is very usefull software for any organization that is work on multi site working or working on more than one products, it is really helpfull to track and organise process or any information regarding product or process at any point of time by any individual employees of the organisation, we can set a specific workflow to get products from concept to production, also if you have large workforce in your team that do not talknto eqch other due to different work it is very usefull to communicate product data between department.it has store every data so to track old data for any source of information is very easy, also the software is easy to navigate, it is the fully integrated product management software that helps to manage, design data, manage or create standard workflow, it is alos product that can any organization implement without large amount of money, it has like all problem one solution for any organization like supply chain for cad model management, standard documents mangement, BOM management also ERP management, the software is one stop solution where there is a sudden change in any process or workflow or design it helps to keep teams in synchs and on time for project completion, it also integrated with software like NX system, that allows you to see any 3D designing model at different views to see its intersection, also you can modified the design ,. Also it is support on any plateform like window, linux, mac.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter software is too complex and non-intuitive, so it requires lot of training, due to this complexity new user found very problmatic to use this software, also it use java as a operations plateform we get lots of java errors to encounter which is very annoying, sometimes measurements are not always accurate and sometimes difficult to take. Also import or export any source of data is very time consuming, also the system is not very flexible it has several limitations taht cannot be modified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is leading in compreesor manufacturing unit, its has very wide verity of models with different capacity, so to track and manage better product workflow, upload design of parts, BOM of parts, ERP of parts add , uplod different trail data of different models so that in future needed can compare with old dtq and track the solution,and due to very large workforce and different department where communication is little difficult we use teamcenter software to get in sync with all department and to track on time manufacturing activity.
