Effective and supportive for unique systems
What do you like best about the product?
We needed scraping protection for our APIs, and Datadome worked with us all the way through to get the security we need. The team at Datadome helped us build a custom integration with their systems, and they are always available when we have issues. They provide a powerful solution to handle malicious traffic that we can manage as we need, or we can contact them where they are happy to manage issues for us. It is a high quality product with a high quality support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
DataDome does not have out-of-the-box connectors for Azure Cloud serverless computing services. We needed to build a custom integration. Other than that they consistently address all issues we have and always match or best the competition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scraping protection for a proprietary API.

To be able to see all the traffic my website receives.

I was a bit annoyed by the setup time although it was a special case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They were scraping the prices of our products. DataDome prevented our prices from being obtained by our competitors.

It just works without any difficulties
What do you like best about the product?
It provides great bot protection with quite easy to setup installation. It provides real protection and if you do something suspicious you will be blocked, unless your are in the allow list. Solution that just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to do some steps to setup it right. It's ok, not a big deal.

Effective and Low-Overhead Bot Protection
What do you like best about the product?
DataDome has proved to be an effective bot protection service for web services. Implementation was easy and the ability for us to customize rules to tune the system has provided us very few false positives.
The control panel provides good customization options and ability to enable or disable endpoints as needed.

Would be nice to be able to have multiple directives in the server-side configuration for exclusions, rather than one regex to rule them all.

Onboarding and support wasn't great. The docs could be improved as well.

Instantly crushed form spam
What do you like best about the product?
We had a serious issue with bot traffic submitting fake leads on our Sales demo form. After implementing DataDome, our MQL rejection rate went from nearly 50% to under 5%. DataDome also helped to remove bot traffic from our analytics data which gives us a much clearer picture of our conversion rates and traffic numbers.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a unique technical stack (Netlify + Next.js) that meant we had to spend a little extra effort to integrate DataDome. However, the Customer Support team was helpful throughout this process and even reviewed our integration code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDome drastically reduces spam traffic and identifies bots through sophisticated fingerprinting using machine learning and not just IP based filtering. This led to a decreased MQL rejection rate on our demo forms and much cleaner analytics data.

Furthermore, since integrating DataDome’s solution, we've experienced fewer instances of spam content being posted on our site, enhancing credibility and maintaining a positive reputation. Overall, partnering with DataDome has led to increased user engagement, higher conversion rates, and better brand perception – making it a valuable asset to our business operations.
Set it and Forget it Bot Detection
What do you like best about the product?
We love how easy it has been to set and forget bot detection with DataDome. After initial implementation we have never had to worry about data being infiltrated with bots and we can be certain that we are surfacing appropriate information to the right customers. We haven’t needed to make any adjustments since the initial implementation and it has just worked!

We currently haven't experience anything we don't like!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to use bot detection in front of our coupons API to prevent coupon harvesting. Before DataDome, any bot could load up a page or even directly hit the API and gain access to a dynamic coupon. Now with DataDome we can be certain that we are only displaying coupons to real humans.

If you are looking for a secure, GDPR compliant, and UX friendly, DataDome is the tool every company should have!

The SaaS platform where you can find all the metrics and setup the endpoints is easy to use.
The positive aspect of DataDome is when it is setup, you can used it with an audit mode to confirm its benefits, without impacting your existing applications. And when you are ready, you just have to toggle a button to activate the blocking mode

DataDome is working with tenant. If you need to create a lots of tenant to secure a large IS park, the switching between each tenant could be a mess. DataDome needs to improve on this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDome is able to detect malicious and bad bot trafic, even the sneakiest and trickiest one. It protects against lots of attack vector like credential stuffing, bruteforcing, web scrapping... While adding a better experience for our customer because it has been designed to bee user friendly and friction free.
