Superb bot protection with great support and tooling
What do you like best about the product?
DataDome has excellent support, thorough reporting on traffic, great tools for creating custom rules and managing traffic, transparent pricing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more engineers available in US timezones would help (DataDome is primarily based out of France, and most engineers seem to be in Europe).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage a site that bots target heavily for competitive scraping. DataDome easily blocks simple threats. Their advanced reporting and online tools allow us to take care of many threats ourselves. Their support team is highly skilled, and very responsive to help block advanced threats.

What do you like best about the product?
Our websites, dedicated to medical professionsals,, are now safe from attacks

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our websites feature the public profiles of thousands of medical professionals. We have had a bad experience with a copy of a site created to look just like ours but with all the text replaced by malicous and spam content. This type of content theft is no longer possible with Datadome.
Efficient protection against content theft
What do you like best about the product?
It works. Bots are changing all the time, and we would never be able to keep up with them ourselves. DataDome efficiently filters out all our malicious traffic, so we don’t have to worry about our content being stolen.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing in particular we dislike. DataDome is working well for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We operate a successful telephone directory. Competitors were scraping and republishing our proprietary data, sometimes outranking us in search engine results with our own content. Our business was growing, and we knew this content theft could threaten our existence. We had to stop it.
We have been using DataDome for several years now, and we can’t imagine doing without it. It’s an insurance against potentially very serious problems.

Excellent SaaS Site Protection
What do you like best about the product?
The DataDome team was very responsive from the very first phone call and throughout the whole process. I was surprised to get someone on the phone right away and equally surprised to have all of my questions answered thoroughly from Nicolas and his team.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far the service is doing what we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datadome has helped us decipher good and bad traffic and filter out the bad. The custom dashboard provides excellent data for both technical and non-technical users.
Easy to implement, effective, and allows us to focus on other things

Once configured DataDome works autonomously and works well. This allows our small SecOps team to focus on other areas which need their attention while maintaining a high-level of protection and prevention against bot based attacks and content scraping.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing notable enough to mention as a dislike about Datadome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bot based attacks which include credential stuffing, brute force, account takeover, community spam, content scraping, and abuse of our product features. By autonomously identifying and acting on bot behavior our small SecOps team spends less time on triage, remediation, and preventative measures related to bot behavior.

What do you like best about the product?
Relatively easy to setup, friendly and easy to use web interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI may lack some functionality, but they do listen to suggestions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Good/bad bots detection is pretty good. Scrapping protection is great too. It is very easy to see the stats. And if you need to fine-tune the rules, to unblock someone it is very easy to do so.

What do you like best about the product?
Datadome was immediately effective, finally allowing the teams to offload the everyday management of traffic bots. Since the beginning, DataDome was very responsive. We formed a close relationship with the DataDome teams that we would not have had with generalists. Even the smallest problem are handled instantaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing I really dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were constantly being crawled by scrapers, which consumed a lot of bandwidth.

Very good product developed by a very good team.

What do you like best about the product?
DataDome really is your one stop shop if you want to get rid of bots, spiders and the like. It runs pretty much on autopilot and you can focus on your core business again. The onboarding was super professional and a real pleasure.

Nothing really. In fact, the service doesn't appear to be cheap first, but absolutely pays off.

It protects our data as well as our infrastructure from bad bots & spiders.

Updating the review since we have been using them for years. Datadome continues to help us filter out unwanted traffic. We like how Datadome continues to invest in new and improved methods of protection since the nature of threats constantly evolve.

What do you like best about the product?
Most importantly, the protection works! We find it very reliable. It’s reassuring to look at the dashboard and see the attacks that have been stopped, but there’s nothing we need to do about them and that’s a big win for my team.
We also enjoy an excellent relationship with DataDome. They’re very responsive and truly care about our experience. It feels more like a partnership than a client-vendor relationship.
