What do you like best about the product?
This product is so easy to use and perfect for creating work and personal products. It is user friendly and fun to play around with different designs. It's nice to add logos to the images to promote my company brand. I love the examples they give, it helps me get ideas for future products I can create. It's nice to share work between co-workers. The fact that the product is free is AWESOME!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I ever had was the sizing of one image and then importing to social media took a minute to figure out. I did contact support and ended up figuring it out by myself.
I did purchase an image and didn't realize I could only use it on one project. That was annoying

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating images for social media was a challenge before using Canva. It's very easy to put together something in a few minutes time. We can share projects with different people in the office and everyone can add their input and changes to make the end result better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product! Take time to explore the features that Canva has and learn all the great projects you can create!

Quick Solution to Urgent Design Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I love Canva. It's fast, easy to use, and you can produce high quality creative in minutes for free. Great for beginner designers or anyone on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little difficult to make precision edits, and the saving and gallery feature is still a little buggy. Searching for images, etc. is challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There's an urgent need for creative regularly, and sometimes it's just a simple flyer or invitation. Canva is great for making that happen - fast!
Would highly recommend for a quick solution to design!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that they are always expanding on the different templates that can be used, and in addition adding many free options so you can create eye-catching designs without paying hardly any money. It works really well for beginners as well as designers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike is that I sometimes feel like what I am creating is going to be exactly like another person's result. I do wish that there were a few more elements that could be added that would a little more unique and that they changed them out frequently. But otherwise, it is ia great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have clients that need to get social media posts, newsletters, flyers, and blogs out quickly. They come to me looking for a quick design sometimes, and I like to be able to give them this as a tool and option.
I love Canva
What do you like best about the product?
The inspiration they give you, handy formating, easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the fact that there aren't enough free images, but can easily be solved by uploading your own images.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making our brand visible on social media isn't easy. But now we can easily design images for blog/social/...
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! It's free (unless you want to start using paid images, but you won't really need them at first), it's easy and it looks good.
Makes Social Media Easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use templates. Tons of free options. Makes creating beautiful social media posts with ease. Also has great templates for printable marketing materials and more. I tend to use only for social media: posts and banners. Affordable upgrades so you can customize exactly to what you imagine, paying for only the elements you can't find for free.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish I could figure out how to easy add a logo overlay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves me a ton of time struggling with photoshop or some other complex program.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it! Better than any other option I am tried and many times it's absolutely free.
Love this product! It's easy to design without having any knowledge of graphic designing.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use. Having stock photos right at your fingertips. Some are free but the ones that are for purchasing (the license) are only $1. They also have various vector designs to choose from to use for free or to purchase (the license). They have an array of fonts to choose from and the templates for the typography are easy to customize.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you do have to purchase the membership in order to download a design with a transparent background. Other than that it's great all around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to create social media images to post to ad a bit a creativity to our companies' social media accounts. It instead of being too corporate, we can express our creative side too.
Wonderful program for creating graphics
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, lots of free elements, lots of templates
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the best selection of available fonts, can't manipulate the shape of words.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
easy creation of graphics for promotions in a minimum amount of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely a user-friendly program. Easy to create professional looking graphics. Loads of free shapes, frames, elements.
Easy to use, beautiful product
What do you like best about the product?
Canva makes designing simple infographics easy, and it's handy to have almost every element of Canva be customizable. I also find all the graphic and font templates really helpful. It's definitely our go-to when we need to create simple client-facing graphics because it's fun to play around in Canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything I need to use it for right now (very basic graphics) works well. It would be nice to have more free images, but I understand why there aren't. There really isn't much that Canva doesn't fulfill for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a fast and easy solution for us when we need to whip up a graphic. We've realized it's a great way to address the visual learner among us. We first came across Canva when we needed to quickly create social media content (infographics) without requiring the help of our designer, and Canva was the perfect tool for the job.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The custom size canvas is really helpful! Canva is really great for visual learners. We've made many graphics by taking text and turning them into Canva presentations with great results!
So many bugs while designing
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone in the team has access to the design, because Canva is an online design platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva has a lot of bugs, which can be very annoying and time-consuming. Some of the bugs I FREQUENTLY face with include: suddenly unable to change text's color (despite my efforts to refresh the page many times), texts suddenly getting cramped for no reason (again, I have to refresh the page many times in vain), texts suddenly get dispersed and out of your background page, texts of the same size but look smaller/bigger than each other (for instance, when I type "Hello" of size 12pts, and make a copy of the text "Hello", there will be two texts "Hello" of the same size 12pts; however, one actually is bigger than the other and you will notice this when you juxtapose them together, or lay them over each other). In short, there are so many bugs that I don't remember them all. The only reason I'm still using Canva is because my boss wants everyone in the team has access to what I design, and thus all of us can plug information in the design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We create social media graphics, e-vites, and fliers on Canva. A good thing about Canva is that it has basic design tools (such as add photos, add texts, add shapes, change colors and opacity, etc) for free. These tools are very easy to use, which can be helpful to non-designers. However, like I said earlier, using Canva can be very time-consuming because of many bugs coming in the way. Sometimes you will have to refresh the page for ten times to get the right text/color/size.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Canva only when you don't have any designers in your team, or when you don't know how to design at all. Canva is very easy to use. It offers many free tools, illustrations and backgrounds. However it also has many limitations including bugs (which can slow down your design process), and a lack of some essential functionalities such as gradient.
Canva--A great free basic graphic design app that lacks some features
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is the best part about Canva. The user interface is simple and intuitive, and the built-in collection of free shapes, illustrations, photos, text templates, and layouts are a big plus, along with the ability to upload your own. There is also a pretty good selection of editing options: text spacing, size, and alignment, photo and shape transparency, brightness/contrast/other photo attributes, a small collection of filters, and you can even change the colors of some of the free vectors. I use this for any graphic design project--book covers, social media posts, website graphics.
The autosave feature is also amazing.
The autosave feature is also amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva is great, but there are certain limitations with the free plan. The inability to upload your own fonts is the big one. The built-in font selection is decent, but still limited, but if you want true control you'll have to shell out for the business plan, which also includes transparent background and resizing.
Also, while there are free images/vectors that are easy to find via browsing, the search feature is very poor. Usually the only results that turn up are premium (paid) files, and you have to scroll for a while
It occasionally has some glitches, such as elements shifting in the final downloaded document. This occurs sporadically, and I have yet to find a solution, but in my experience this occurred only when a photo was filtered. Your results may vary.

This tool is absolutely wonderful for book covers, especially for people who don't have any experience with graphic design. This is incredibly easy to use, and one can usually get a decent looking product with very little work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is great for basic uses, but for more advanced features you'll have to shell out for the paid plan, or Photoshop.
