Essential Part of everything we do
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use, the security of the platform being HIPAA compliant and I love the ability to collaborate instantly. The facility I work in has been using TigerConnect for several years now and it has become an essential part of what we do to the point that for all clinical staff, it is a start of the orientation and onboarding. It works across platforms seamlessly as well including Windows Desktop, Android devices, iOS devices and more. I have not once helped someone set up the program and the device not been compatible and the functionality wasn't as expected. We have had very few down times and when we do they are resoved really quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike it that we haven't sprung for the upgrade to allow videoconferencing and patient comunication which would really help with family communication

Coorindation of patient information across all disciplnes to cooridnate care and discharge planning.

TigerConnect has made direct communication much easier
What do you like best about the product?
The TigerConnect platform has proven to be a reliable resource that allows two way communication with individuals and groups. We have changed our STEMI call process from pagers to using TigerConnect, due to its ease of use and ease of setting up scheduled roles. Our CMIO has been able to add roles to our STEMI call team as well as schedulers without much effort and the hospital has expanded the use tremendously since we started with this valuable tool. Recently, it has been tied to the hospitalist assignment indicator in Epic, so if someone wants to contact the patient's hospitalist, it can be done at the push of a button, rather than going through a process to look up the patient's currently assigned hospitalist.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside that I can think of is the fact that so many of our processes (including the various call teams within the hospital) have moved to this platform that if it goes offline for some reason, we would be severly handicapped, as there isn't an easy way to set up a back up. That hasn't been an issue thus far, but it is still hovering in the background.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has proven to be a time-saver for so many reasons. We can use it to contact the STEMI team and see responses to the "page" rather than having them call in to indicate receipt of the page. We can send EKG images to the Invasive Cardiologist quickly using TigerConnect. We can contact the patient's hospitalist with critical results without poring over the EMR to find the hospitalist who is "on" at that time. We can see who is on call in any of the specialties in the hospital. This is used by all the teams (Stroke team, Infection prevention, code blue, etc) for easy access and alerting.
It also saves time when entering call teams. I can schedule our 4 man STEMI call team for 4 weeks in less than 10 minutes.
We can also "see" and connect with people at all of the other hospitals within our hospital system, if needed.

User Friendly + a Great Tool for the Team!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the app, super easy to use and find contacts! I love the ease of it - everything about it! As a busy coordinator this is an esy & quick way to communicate. I am able to download messages that need to be saved which is easy to do!
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to remember to download/save messages before the 10 day period of it deleting! Lose one messgae and you will never again forget!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of it has made my life easier! Managing multiple programs and dealing with numerous faculty, residents and students, this is an easy way to keep things organized!

On the back end unable to change some user information i.e name change.

The ablility to use full names during a text messages cuts downs on confuse who being talked about.

Insecure messaging and possible HIPPA. This benefits me in the fact that I am not violating any company policies where I could possibly loose my job

TigerConnect allows for secure communication between nurses, other providers, and support staff. It is an excellent way to share information.

I dislike the constant alerts if a message is not viewed immediately.

What do you like best about the product?
TigerConnect is incredibly useful in disseminating wompany wide information alerts (weather, traffic, emergencies), as well as a great tool for intercommunication with employees, allowing for patient reports, referral information, and HIPAA information without fear of violating HIPAA violations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there have been no negative aspects to the platform. It works effortlessly, allowing for even those with limited IT knowledge to utilize. Only thing is being able to remove or change some text groups can be confusing at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TigerConnect solves our clnical collaboration problems of having to either physically be in person or on the phone with the employee you are reporting to. By secure messaging, and read/sent receipts, it is easily able to show case conferencing and collaboration of care, meeting all of our internal and external regulatory compliance.

This platform offers another method for our organization to send HIPAA-Compliant messages to each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users would prefer to have this messaging option integrated into our EMR system to decrease the number of platforms we utilize.
