What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use (no need to use indexes etc.) and really fast. I like external tables a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of anyy oficcial SQL client (Oravle have SQL Developer etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use netteza to traform data for reporting - preparing data to BI tools like Oracle bussiness intelegience and custom python crafted email reporting

What do you like best about the product?
Development of reports with low query times thus avoiding the construction of information cubes
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are a few million records, you do not see the decrease in query times

Solved the problem of high query times in reports developed with python without increasing hardware capacities or doing manual grooming tasks

What do you like best about the product?
I like how IBM Netezza Performance Server is not just a cloud service but also a business resource. You can move data and process programs without affecting the original data and use this to analyze it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little confusing how to purchase the server for a whole group of people, such as a group of employees. The only information given is purchasing a consultation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Netezza Performance Server is solving the problem of having a relocated database engine for the sake of running queries that are difficult to run without being on the cloud.

What do you like best about the product?
Tables are simple to structure, add, and remove data variables from.

Exporting data to various formats was simple. as in Excel

There are various table views available.
What do you dislike about the product?
cannot utilize pivot, a function found in MS SQL Server.
Not supported by Windows-based systems but supported by Linux-based systems
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used IBM Netezza DWA to handle intricate Ad hoc queries, and the performance was excellent. Moreover, we can use it for reports.

The speed and reliable data warehouse. The server is easy to maintain and requires minimal support activity

There are already service providers for Datawarehouseing like Snowflake, AWS. Migration could be smoother.

DB with Faster Performance

What do you like best about the product?
IBM Netezza is the most powerful and faster DB which helps us to give the better speed for the retrieval of data and since it uses the cloud-based AI-driven architecture which makes it unique to hold unlimited data(I know there is nothing called unlimited).

Also since is an AI-based technique which makes it scalable, price effective and easy to use. Also, we don't need to bother about tuning our SQL and writing the hints into the query to make it faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the architecture might be difficult for people to understand who wanted to understand the mechanism behind the tool but for users like me, I don't have anything to say as bad about Netezza.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a DB, there is very long SQL which was provided to us to make it tune. Since using a tool like SQL server it's hard to do it and but after switiching and using Netezza its very simple. We don't need to look into so many hints or stats or tuning the sql which basically reduces a lot of time for a DBA.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I will advise using this tool. As a lot of time is going to save for all people. For DBA, Consumer and developer all 3 can spend time to increase the business instead of wasting time sitting waiting for results to come

Fastest Data Retrieval DB

What do you like best about the product?
IBM Netezza Performance Server is a very powerful database that can hold large data and bring results very fast. It is simple to use, scalable, fast, and since it's an AI-based platform so it's smart as well.

Also, it's different from other databases like Teradata, Oracle, etc in terms of we have to tune a query to make it faster but in Netezza, we don't need to provide any indexing. Also its very cost effective
What do you dislike about the product?
As of nothing to say, It's the best DB because using the DB on BI is a key where we need a database that can retrieve a result very fast so the reporting solution also becomes faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier we are using Teradata and Oracle as a database which basically is much slower compared to Netezza. Also those are not cloud platforms that can hold an unlimited amount of data which is the biggest challenge.

So, using Netezza first problem solved is we can show a large data volume in BI and that too very quick and second we don't need to tune our query or do collect stats to make it run faster.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I will definitely recommend using the IBM Netezza Performance Server to everyone.
