The queries will return fast and being a managed solution

What do you like best about the product?
The horsepower and flexibility. Model score processing is faster, ETL onto the environment is easy and can build any type of data model needed to support campaign.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is good for analytics but still trying to figure out how it works best for campaigning. Started using with limited knowledge so trying to understanding differences between a DB2 and Netezza.

Fast database for data analytics
What do you like best about the product?
SPEED. We came from a legacy Oracle database that would take 4+ hours to run a large data aggregations for our call center histories, which meant we had to create extracts to load into separate systems for analysis. With Netezza, the same data snapshots take seconds to run, meaning we can tweak the data logic on the fly and run our analysis in the database system, greatly improving usability of the data and speed to decisions. Our use case may be simple compared to some other companies, but this was a huge improvement for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting support (ODBC drivers, additional libraries) is difficult with the source being tightly controlled. I am a user at my company and cannot access ODBC drivers for the system, which seems kind of weird to have those aspects of the solution locked down to only the admin accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call center performance metrics, VOC program analytics, customer population analytics and segmentations
IBM QUERY
What do you like best about the product?
I use this application everyday for writing sql queries and it a very friendly and helpful tool because of its easy to use features and ability to connect to multiple instances of schema.
What do you dislike about the product?
Look and Feel should be improved. Previous sessions are not being stored sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to validate data in multiple environments between the source and target tables. I'm able to use the queries and trying to avoid much work in MS Excel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I personally use this tool and found it to be very helpful especially for people who query tables to retrieve data for validation and analyses. This is similar to Toad and other query based tools but definitely meets my needs.
Fast and High Volume data compatible
What do you like best about the product?
Its very fast when compared to other DBs present. Aginity tool by IBM is great to work on the Netezza DB.
What do you dislike about the product?
As you adopt this DB, you have to make few changes for your builtin functions.

High speed of retrieval of data and analysis of data is easier.
