Dynatrace for devops
What do you like best about the product?
It has many tools that can be used for monitoring and observability

Sometimes it gets overwhelming and complicated especially when creating dashboards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
That it consolidated all the logs from different cloud platforms and resources into one place

Alerting and dashboarding ease, out of the box service level Analysis.

Front end monitoring and alerting. API level alerting at this point is tough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest problems Dynatrace solved is the MTTR. The out the box problem creation is great. It drills down to the root cause.
String Observability capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace is a string tool for monitoring. One agent do the magic. You ne installed on any host you get all health sata of your all application on that host. Its zero code instrumentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Paas should have simolar capabilities as having IAas . They are catching up with PAas capabilities also pretty fast . Cost model for snaller business will be good improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace display end to end experience of user journey and health of underlying hosts.
Best Monitoring tool
What do you like best about the product?
we have been able to quickly resolve production issues using Dynatrace and we have also used it to track performance issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is very complex and takes a while to learn. Getting developers to use the tool is a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Production issues. We have been able to track down production issues faster with Dynatrace.
Log monitoring and log querying. Their solution for our system and application logs is far superior than other solutions we have used in the past, and we are constanly finding new ways to use their logging solution.
User experience monitoring. We have been able to provide better support for our customers with their user experience monitoring solution.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to install a single agent and then starting to get metrics and monitoring data in miniutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The too mnay ways of getting the same tasks accomplished.

Managing maintenance windows. The filters could be better.

Errors with our payment system. Dynatrace quickly identifies the root cause when our payment system has errors or is not responsive.

What do you like best about the product?
The inhouse collection of data from different source and analytics makes life easier for supoorting the applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex traversing from the dashboard. Better to have a read me / user manual documnet in the webui for any navigation across the UI.

Dynatrace solves the Application performance monitiring and incident response much better than traditional logging and old fashioned processes.

Dynatrace Works - Seriously!
What do you like best about the product?
Using the tracing of requests through multiple microservices, I can find where the request is stalling out and or failing. It has helped me and my team get to the root of many problems without having to write custom code.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is so many options and so much power in the platform that users regularly get lost or confused as they navigate through the different pages, options and possible actions. The good news is that with a few hours of practice you learn where and how to do the work. To find the gold - it really does work. Seriously
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it gives me insights into how the app is being used in different parts of the world. A perfect example, is needing to see how the users are using my application on a distant continent. It gave me visibility into what is being clicked on, what browsers are being used and what OS's are being used. All of which I need to know what to best build for my customers.
